I think that you are absolutely right in that humbleness is a virtue that is seems most of these LED companies don’t have, but I did read on their site that they would take anyone on in a heads up challenge LED to LED, but I have also heard that claim made my other manufactures that never actually did it until your test. Case in point the 126w manufacture made lots of outlandish claims in the beginning of this thread and went on to look like a fool at the end.
Just from viewing their site Grow LED Hydro seems to be the best so far, and their prices don’t have a crazy 400% mark up like some others.
Good luck with your next grow, I am very eager to see how it all turns out although to be honest I will probably replace my lights with LEDs well before it is done.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. Makes me feel like I am starting to understand the dynamics of LED technology a little better. This sure is more complicated than screwing in a light bulb and flipping a switch.
I'm still waiting on a response from China about different wavelengths and lens in a custom build. Not 100% committed to ordering a custom LED configuration based on my limited study of the subject but it might prove to be more cost effective in the end. Have you seen any of the Stealth Grow LED's that just hit the market? There are some hanging in hydro shops around town and Advanced Nutrients basically endorsed them on YouTube back in December. I was seriously considering the SG 602 at 327w but after tbrad's post it is hard to stomach $1599 when I might be able to get a custom built 7 spectrum 288w for well under a $1000.
I wonder if the folks in China can powder coat the case red for me?

Closer to 1/3 of that!!! In the near future, if everyone stays with this idea, we may have the build specs that we need. As for the powder coating, you can get it done at many auto chrome places although you may be better served just spray painting it.

when are you expecting their light? I was interested in there lights before I bought mine. The Ed Rosenthal BS was the reason I went with the 126.
LOL HGL did make some crazy ass claims. I still like the bloom room pics of the massive buds only to find out there were some big HID lights spotted in the pics. I went ahead and filed a complaint with the BBB. These vendors need to quit with the dishonest sales tactics.

it will ship out this next week. he wants to send me the 600w but i e-mailed him asking if two 300w's would be better? it seems to me the more smaller units would be better on foot print. but he said hang the 600w up in my room and if i think i need more light then he will send me another 180w light to add next to the 600w. that would be a crazy led grow, 780w's my plants would be covered completely with light. lol. but i am sure the 600w would be enoff light. i am still trying to figure out how i want to grow my next girls? i think ill do 3 big ass LST plant. just keep tying them down to get allot of colas.

I say just try and get the most yield you can. If you've got room to do a side by side I would still do it the same way. If one side needs something the other doesn't, just do it like they were 2 solo grows.

What lights are you waiting for Irish? I didn't catch anything about a new company hooking you up? Sounds stellar man! Whats the specs on that op?

i talked to them today and they really want me to do a grow with their 600w light. he told me he dosent want me to test his light for him because he has been testing it for several years before sailing them, so he already knows what his light can do. he just wants to let other people see the results of his grow lights from a none bias person like me. he also told me no matter what happen the $2000.00 light is mine to keep. the more different lights i test the more i know who really has the better led lights out of these company's.

i dont know? i was wondering that also, but i don't think so that Hindu skunk is a big plant. i can say blue dream vs blue dream the 180w has the win for sure no doubt. but i dont know if the ps will take over all yield with that runt on their side? i would be really sad for the 126w if that happen. we will find out soon when i have them dried.

Very nice, and you deserve the 2000 dollar lights if I had a LED worth anything I would send it to you also... You are a trusted grower unlike a lot of others that claim to be. Great job....

thank you sir, that means allot to me. i just love growing and testing out new tech. i also want the forum members to see whats really out their and how it works before they spend their money on something that might not work as claimed. i want to let members see who has the real deal lights when it comes to leds, i also want to know this for myself. this next grow will not be on all five forums because ive grown to not like other forums. but it will be on here for sure! i will say this! by far 420 mag is my all time favorite forum, all of you are really cool and respectful with led growers. i really enjoy posting on this forum and showing you guys my results. THANK ALL OF YOU FOR BEING SO COOL TO A NEW GUY ON HERE LIKE ME.
