so after taking everything into consideration (yield, growth, energy used, etc.) would you say you liked this grow better or worse then just using regular lights?

i ust read through the whole thread and ive gotta say
youve inspired me to do a 12/12 grow(that is, once i get my own place)
instead of 1 plant a couple cfls and some LEDs however
im gonna do something similar to your poor mans grow
with a 20 cfls or so

whatever happened to those actual sunflowers you had?

I have pics of the sunflowers before I moved, one was over 6 feet tall, the ones I 12/12'd early got to 4 feet and 5 feet. I will post them up when I get a change. They are beautiful

I vegged one plant of og kush with a 125W 6500K CFL for 9 weeks then used a 200W 2700K CFL for side lighting and a 100W LED panel above the plant about 10cm's above the canopy and flowered for 7 weeks. I got 2.5 oz's of dry nice tasting bud that had a great high.
