Leaves aren't Dark Green - Help

I liked DJ's idea about taking before and after pics. I could see that being really useful. I guess I do it to some extent without thinking about it. I take TONS (can it really be "tons"? Seriously, how much do electrons weigh? hehe) of pictures almost everyday.

tluna, can you post some updated pictures?

cal/mag issues seem to be the most common deficiency I see around here. MJ loves Mg. Are you supplementing that at all? I use some of the GH calmag stuff, but I ALSO add a little Epsom salts.

Have you put any cal/mag through the pot ? if not put 1/4 -1/2 strength of cal/mag with your next watering .if your stems continue to be a purple/red it could be a tempreture problem always keep between 22-28 for best results

I just started treating those 3 with cal/mag I'm giving it a week or 2 to see any changes

The farthest to the left and the ones in bigger pots are having the issue and one has started to gain it's dark green leaves back slowly but surely hopefully the rest follow

Tluna, a couple of those plants look like they are drooping a bit (back left, and 3 in front row on right). It is usually a water issue. If you just watered them, then it's too much watering. Let them dry out a bit between watering.

Some of the leaves also show signs of burning. I would back off on any feeding. No more than 1/4 for awhile. I know you're adding calmag. It shouldn't take 2 weeks for the plant to respond. You said you already see improvement. That means you're reducing, and hopefully eliminating, the lockout. Have you been checking the ph of your runoff? I don't recall any mention of the ph. Ph issues are the most common issue when growing. Cory has a great graphic on his site that shows which elements are absorbed at which ph. You can see it here:
Hydroponic ph chart

Well I back off the nutrients for awhile and I just started again its reccomends 15ml per gallon I'm only putting in 5 to hopefully give it something. The ph on the initial water going in is 7.0 I have not checked the runoff. Which I will actually do next watering

Keep at it Bro you will figure it out and the nxt grow will be a little easier. Have had my share of bumps in the road wit hmy current grow, Peace OG.

I actually have noticed the leaves gaining their dark green color back so I think I've gotten out of the lockout and back on my way to a sea of green. I will post pictures soon.

You can actually tell that the pigmentation is coming back and the three tallest plants were the ones with deficiencies and the little baby in the pink cup is 1 of 3 White Widow females i started from seed my grow is coming along well for my 2nd grow but first indoor.

Only thing i personly would try at this point would be to ad a GHP product to increase the plants nute uptake. other then that i couldnt see both, What type of lights you have nor how close they are to your plants. Mabe its as simple as you have more nutes then you have light. less light you have the less nutes you need because it can only use so much raw materials to make sugar to acually grow.

GO BACK TO HIGH SCHOOL! ; p i mean remeber the basics of how ANY plant works. Green is just the color that is refected from the cloraplast/cloraphil (all that fun junk ; p )

if you increase the lighting mabe or just simply move closer to the plants so they can get stronger light might improve your nute uptake and solve (what i think to be) a lil overwater/nuting.

The light is about a little over a foot above the tallest plants..the color has came back in the plants except for one and i cant seem to figure that one out

when it comes to nutrients i give them a quarter of whats recommended and with watering i feel the pots when i water them and then when i feel like they have dropped some weight then also stick my finger to feel how deep the dried soil is and water based off of that.

adjust up to half strength, but let them dry out more. Go a little longer than you think. The pot should feel pretty light. Probably lighter than you think it should.

Ditto what Hiker said. Had a few of my plants in 5 gallon buckets and overwatered them right off the bat ended up transplanting three of them into smart pots and they are thriving , I am very in tune with the weight of my plants watered and dry , plus I use a moisture meter, OG.

Sounds like the perfect approach to me! I've got some clones in soiless. This is how I do it, except I don't have a moisture meter yet. I think weight is the easiest/best method, but you have to start with some way to measure. Once you know what wet and dry feel like, you can skip the meter.

Yeah it was a mixture of over watering and getting the pH of the water just right. so now the plant that looked all wilted and light green all the time is standing up and gaining its color back it takes around almost a week for the pots to dry out

That's not unusual. Especially if they are stressed. If the roots took a hit, it takes awhile to come back. In the meantime, they will not be drinking the water as quickly. My little 1g pots with coco/verm/perl can go a week easy. I tend to water them around day 5. I have 20 plants to watch though, so when the first one shows signs of being dry, I water all of them.

Yeah they all aren't watered at the same time so I have schedule for about half of the plants and the other half are on another I look for wilting then I water
