The Scrog is certainly easier to care for. Being able to wheel out the plants is nice.

I’m hoping for 18 oz with little to no popcorn. I’d consider that a “success”.

It looks like there’s plenty of bud sites to support that goal, but who knows, lol.

Aug 6 (the due date) is still a long ways off.

Hooked up a new co2 tank last night. When this one runs out, I’ll stop supplementing CO2, and drop temperature to mid 70’s for the final 4 weeks of flower.

sorry, I forgot and I'm lazy, is this round a clone from the last harvest or from seed? Love that sugar coming in

I tend to be a pheno hunter. I’ll buy a new flavor of seeds, grow out 6 and keep the pheno I like the best. Then I’ll run it till I get the urge to try something else.

If there’s is one thing I’ve learned, every strain has its “sweet spot” for growing conditions.

Sunday night update.

the plants are starting to actively shed lower fan leaves. They aren’t getting light at more and are going yellow and dropping. Totally normal and about right on schedule.

Sugar production and bud growth seems to be right on track too. 35 to 40 days to go, I’m leaning towards 35 days

It’s that boring part of the grow where it feels like nothing is happening. Lol

I have cut Co2 to ambient levels and lowered temps. To me, it seems co2 isn’t real effective or helpful after the buds set. Seems more beneficial to lower the day time temps.

I’ll post pics in a few days, but it’s slow going right now

They still look good and healthy, but sure are putting on weight slow.

They look fine, they just don’t look a bunch bigger. If they get around to swelling, it’ll be a great crop.

I ran co2 though the first few weeks of flower. It helps to pop lots of flowers, but slows maturing a bit.

This strain can go up to 84 days, I’ve had it get done in 70 days too.

I just need to be patient.

They babies for the next round need more time anyhow. Lol

It is nice smoke. Very old school sativa

Photo dump. Getting harder to get shots of the whole canopy. But I think you can see what’s going on.

As sativas can do, they’re still popping new pistils, and haven’t really started to “fatten” yet.

Spacing is good, there’s no popcorn and plenty of buds. They just need to decide to fatten up. Lol

I’m pretty much done thinning fan leaves as well. I just pluck off the ones she’s done with at this point.

it’s thin enough that good light is getting all the buds. Even the bottom buds are firm.

I fear however, this ones gonna go well past 70 days.

This Scrog needed a second layer of screen.

The good news is that there are lots and lots of colas, and they do appear to be starting g to put on some Bulk.

The upper leaves are showing some burn from the uvb lights. Some of the fans are starting to die out too. That’s all to be expected at this point.
By the time it finishes, it’s usually dropped almost all its fan leaves.

There is a lot of bud here. Lol this might make 20oz dry
