I use a lot of Langbeinite in my soil mix. Lots of minerals and rock dust as well. I need to run my latest mixure again and NOT forget to add the Mg in there like I did last time. I have been chasing my tail with that. I had upped my minerals last time again, but haven't been able to gauge the effects had since I screwed up the Mg. Gonna mix another batch next week.....assuming I can find my notebook with the soil recipe lol.

My boy Van! Lol they are bred by HSO though never used langbeinite before, may have to toss a bit into my experimental pot when the time comes!I forget, who is your Blue Dream from? I grew ILGMs and theirs nannered on me. They were sterile but still nannered. Gonna run HSO's version next.

Havent really done my research...mostly grew it for the lady! Whats the smoke like?I love my blue dream from hso
About 5 grams left and out from summer run got about 6-7 seeds from her . Love this smoke .
Well my grow as learning still but here is my conclusion wait @Lowded118 you hit that- smokereport bro of that blue dream I sent ya ? I think LH you will respect it as he nailed it let me see if I can get it .Havent really done my research...mostly grew it for the lady! Whats the smoke like?
Ok time for @Kingjoe83 Blue Dream smoke report.
This is a fat compact medium green bud. The nugs are firm with a little squish. The fragrance in the bag is amazing fruit fuel combo. Once busted it gains 10x the smell and blueberry fuel is amazing! I haven't sampled this for a long while as it's so amazing to smell lol. It's true! Ok let's fire this in the bong and see.
It tastes just like it smells. A wonderful blend of Blueberry and fuel. Connoisseur type stuff. The air smells like blueberry after exhale. It's amazing. The after taste of a blueberry with a touch of sour. It's really easy to smoke with just a touch of coughing at the end of exhale. I'd put this as medium easy to smoke. Fantastic imo.
0-5min - nice calming sedation moves in and a sensation behind the eyes is where it sits for me.
5-10min - I start my face touching lol. So it's a touchy friendly smoke. Some small hunger feelings moves in.
10-20 min - pain relief is amazing with a nice clear bright head. Now I'm fighting off hunger. So I'll have a little more and see what higher dose does. I'm very impressed with the "pain be gone" this smoke has!
Conclusion, good strain for me. My favorite part is the blueberry smell left behind in the room. So cool. Great daytime pain relief, although if you overdo it, it's strong enough to enjoy as recreational. Great conversation MJ. I fought off hunger with a higher dose. Really enjoy the clear head. This one's keeping me alert but not as focus driven as that Dark Energy. That shiI was amazing to get stuff done!
Sweet stuff. I'll take more pls!
Haha your good! Thanks brother, I appreciate that! Thats a solid report tooOr this Learning here bare with me bro

Btw, have you seen a revised version of no-till recipe consisting of 50% peat moss, 40% humus, & 10% biochar with 8 cups per cu. ft. of rock dusts? I seen that today and was really impressed!! Super simple recipe, and astonishing results! I'm probably going to do a run or two with it and see what happens (could be a little while yet). Might even start with a dark devil so I can get the mulch layer/nutrients in the soil built up real good before dropping a killer bean. Appreciate you swinging through Bob!
Down to earth langbeinite 0-0-22 lol crazy but only in states
So kelp for the winGirls turning into ladies and looking good. Gonna have quite a canopy there buddy. The ladies look mighty fine, looks like smooth sailing ahead! woot
I've seen several versions of the no-till. It's all about the humus portion everything else being equal of course.
I'm still running the no-till we started out with years ago and the only addition is malted barley powder. I like the idea of less ingredients for sure. That said I like the aeration part of my mix with per-lite. After several runs even with per-lite it can get pretty dense towards the btm of the pot.
My ingredient list is:
Karaja/neem cake
kelp meal
crustacean meal
Malted barley
Oyster shell flour
Brix blend basalt dust
Gypsum ground fine
Glacial rock dust
Add all those - 1 cup per cubic foot (7.5gal) of equal parts:
Peat moss
compost (humus portion)
aeration (per-lite)
Can add in some bio-char for part of the aeration as an option.
I like the neem cake in the soil to help with pests.
Speaking of pests. The leaves down near the soil line I always cut them back. There are bugs most of em beneficial in the soil so I don't like to have leaves down low for the bad bugs to use for and escape route.
The bugs sorta look like thrips to me, I see a few in the pics. Fan on the soil line they cant fly worth a damn and need to be able to fly to reproduce.
I use spinosad for all the baddies.. Some take more work than others. Thrips are pretty easy to get rid of, about like fungus gnats.
If they were mites the whole plant would be covered by now, they don't isolate to btm leaves as they reproduce so quickly the plants can literally get covered in a few weeks left un-checked.
See the "-22" there ^^^ why I don't use it. It's a fancy and expensive version of
K-Mag, Sul-Po-Mag, MagmaK.
It's a quick and dirty way to treat crappy soil that has been over tilled and over used. Not really the application we have here. Good for mid-western farmers growing corn tho! Sadly for the animals that eat the corn, it's missing lots of vital nutrients and why they also use kelp meal along with grains at the food lot.
If the animals have a mineral deficit and humans are eating those animals (or crops), that deficit gets passed along up the food chain.
Here's a good read on the uses and there are warnings even tho its mostly considered organic (there are exceptions).
Read thru this and you eventually get to Kelp Meal. Has everything (macro and micro nutrients) plants need to grow and a good dose of K and cheap too. I prefer kelp meal as an amendment. VERY hard to over use and can foiler on, water in and make teas with it.

Always good info Bob..Thank you! I wasnt sure about the no aeration part either. Maybe if I had some blu mats, otherwise watering might be hard to dial in. They are something I'll be looking at in the future though!Girls turning into ladies and looking good. Gonna have quite a canopy there buddy.
