Landrace Genetics 101

Thank you. It is awesome stuff and grew so easily. Even with my lack of light intensity they really seemed to thrive.
The one that I had named piney was extremely psychedelic. This one is a close second in flavor. The effect is stupifying. I was telling my wife dirty middle school bus jokes and couldn't stop laughing.

Wait..........

Never bought seeds?

LMAO
I've never bought seeds either.

:eek::rolleyes::hmmmm:

Love the memes Bob!

Swami must be one of Coots BOEL associates from back in the day. Read a story about it when we were working out the CC soil mix. He owed "an associate" something and that associate got some cuts/seeds forget which and that satisfied the situation. My take on it. Swami had "the One" but I never saw it for sale, it was always sold out.
AFAIK “The One” is clone only, and Coots has given away clones to 100’s(perhaps 1000’s) of people.

Smoked some Killing Fields earlier this year which is supposedly The One x Jack...wasn’t overly impressed however no clue who grows this shit. Unless it comes from my garden or someone else’s I know, just generally not impressed...lol

I was really surprised at how well I did with my red point crosses. When I buy store sativas their effects and flavor are what I call generic sativa, most of the time. Whereas my red points have intense effects ranging from laughing hysterically to watching the textured ceiling flow like a river and the flavors are great.

I guess the real question is, How in the hell am I growing better bud than the commercial guys when I have crappy lights and only feeding Maxibloom???? Lol.

Commercial guys care about one thing only, money.

They don’t care about the final product like we do, they just want fast big turn around, that’s it.

I grow for myself only, and I do everything to make sure quality over quantity. Also, I hate mostly anything that’s been vacuum sealed, feels like it sucks the “freshness” right out. From plant to jar to lungs, no better process!

Genetics? It accounts for a lot.

The commercial growers go for yield above all else. Also, a lot of those commercial 'sativas' have a decent chunk of indica in the genetics as well to up the yield. That can make a big difference in the buzz. I have yet to find an Indica that has as complex buzz as a sativa. I may be biased though.... ;)

We're gonna have to explore the Lebanese and Paki Hash strains, Morglie. I've heard very good things about the heirloom "indicas". Apparently Lebs have a wide range of effects depending on how early or late you harvest them.

Now that you mention it, I had an Indica expression of a Sinai landrace that was very nice. It has a very unique taste to it. Very herbal and spicy, with a nice sedative buzz. It autoflowered and was a mess to grow though, which is why I only grew the one plant. Its similar to the Lebanese in that it can express as an Indica or Sativa.

I've thought about the Lebanese from Ace, but it's a high CBD strain and I already have a strain that covers that base.

So far I'm really enjoying the Snow Moon I've sampled. Nice gassy, almost mentholated hash smell to it. It's got a nice happy buzz as well. I need to explore that one more thoroughly once it fully dries. Paki hash sounds nice. I've got a several strains with PCK in it.

Herbies is selling the Pakistan Chitral Kush, one from ACE and one from cannabiogen. I am very interested in this strain, since we are talking about indica now... Anyone have some experience with it?

Lebs, you'd want to search for them... Grower that was here, big Sur or something like, he could be worth talking to...
