Landrace Genetics 101

I harvested the seeds from the branches I had chopped.

There is still one branch of pollinated Mulanje x Swaziland left in the tent. But so far I have 175 seeds of the M x S.

Then, for amusement sake, and to kick up this strain...I dusted the CB Dream with the M x S and got 150 seeds.

UA, nice looking seeds! Would you mind elaborating on how you collected the pollen and dusted the ladies?

You bet. It was a mess lol.

I grew out 5 or 6 regular seeds of these gifted African genetics, I have a 4 plant limit and I was growing a CBD plant for family. So I kept two females and the strongest male.

I took my male and put him in a veg tent. I took some poster board and put that under the branches but above the pot. But was a bit messy. I cut off a few tops and let sit on the poster board for a few days. Then busted em up. Scraped up lots of pollen before killing the male.

Then a few weeks later I used a small paint brush to dust a branch or two of each female. I could have pollinated more than intended but. I achieved my goal.

Kerala 54 days old, 6 days under 11/13 lighting. The male is getting used to make F2s along with pollinating Bubba Hash, Zamal Bliss, ThaiPan, and Orient Express x NepJam.
