GC clone bonus grow

Uppotted to 2gallon fabric in promix hp. Botton leaves looking light green, inceased MC to 3g/g at 600ppm. Roots werent looking great like some of the roors ive seen one these forums but not bad also.
Temp 15-22c, slightly lower than ideal, turned down a couple fans a notch.

I figured the rootball didnt look like it was quite ready but i uppotted her anyways. She was about 3 days between wet/dry cycle, watered till runoff each time.
 
Day 16 flower

Feeding day, 5.5g/g, no increase from last feed. Examined leaves and no new issues are showing. I wanted to bump up to 6g but the leaves are looking fairly dark green so will keep it 5.5g until she askes for an increase.
There is one weird fan leaf thats growing upside down but it might have been from LST early on, tempted to pull it but shes doing no harm hanging at the very bottom. Should be getting 8 good colas and a couple smaller ones. First time ive had an even canopy so pretty excited to see how it turns out!

Those flowers are starting to stack nicely! I'd take off that leaf on the soil though.

GC clone - fed last night 538ppm, slight increase of MC from last feeding. Had a look at roots and they have build nicely from days earlier. She is definitely thriving. Took good to the topping and got first LST yesterday.

If I might make a suggestion...put a small stone under the support wire to move it up the stem. Try to force the bend further up the trunk rather than having it at soil level. It will do two things for you: first it will protect the root/stem join, and it will make it so you can get the top lower than the lowers. If the bend is at the bottom you can't accomplish that unless you bend the apical growth below the level of the soil!

Awkward upside down leaf will be removed. Curious, will one leaf touching soil affect plant in any way?
There are about 3-4 budsites per cola so they should stack up nicely!

Ill add a stone underneath, will have to let her heal a bit, she definitely a bit shocked from transplant to 2gallon. Her lower leaves still looking light green so may increase mc slightly next feed.

Some deficiency showing in her, not sure what the issue could be. Current MC at around 600ppm roughly 3g/g. This is telling me to up MC but i feel shes too small to be at anymore than 3g/g

put your feelings away and respond to your plant. Give her 3.25g next time... be bold. Your indicators are speaking to you. :meatballs:
 
Ive yet to provide ph only water for my lambs breath auto. Looking to do this tomorrow and continue with feed feed water and continue with this until harvest. Reading all the MC journals i dont see many people having a day for just water, or have i just missed these waterings?
Will be day 20 tomorrow and feed day, so should i use water only or just continue to feed with mc till end?
 
A good ol’ water only watering never hurt! Just hit them with another half gallon or so of MC water after. :thumb:

Does this sort of defeat the purposes of water only if i added mc after?
 
[shrugs] im not sure man. I’ve read that with MC you don’t need to flush because of salt build up in root zone. For the most part that’s what a flush is for.

It is not recommended to give water only in a MC grow. The reason we give plain water with the old fertilizers is to clear out the medium so that nutes don't accumulate and start locking each other out, but this doesn't happen in a MC grow.
MC moves the nutrients with the water right up into the plant. That pool of chelated nutrients then starts getting processed by the plant, slowly making nutrients in that soup available to the plant. In a MC grow, there are no other nutrients available to the plant other than these nutrients in that soup in the xylem, and as long as they are there, the plant has everything it needs. The things that the plant needs are not in the soil with this nutrient, they come in with the water.
There are no residual nutes available to the plant. If you give the plant plain water, there is no nutrient whatsoever available to the plant on that run. Depending on how long you are going between waterings, it is very likely that every deficiency in the book will start to show itself during a water only watering, because the plant quite literally is starving.
If you feel you are giving too much MC, reduce the dosage... but don't give water only.
 
I may be thinking too much...im just still so unsure about water only feed before harvest so if i could do water only feeds throughout and not do it just during last 2 to 3 weeks it may make me sleep better at night lol

Uppotted 4 days ago and watered, pot still has a couple or more days before watering again. Should i wait till next watering to up MC or should u try to fix the issue immediately, in this case increasing MC
