LadyGaea's Cannaversary Grow - Tangielope & Super Lemon Haze With High Brix

Dang almost a whole day, must be having a blast with the plants... Green Days and great weekend Lady..
Hey MH! Happy Saturday. Lol...Sick. Not sure with what. Severe allergy attack I hope. Can't stop coughing and my eyes are so swollen I look like I went a few rounds in a boxing ring. Hubby is taking me to urgent care shortly. My meds shut down my immune system to control inflammation, so I need to go in panic mode if I get anything that looks like I have an infection. Thanks for checking in! Have a great weekend too!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. Was under the weather a bit. Turns out to be just allergies. I took some medicine and the swelling has gone down quite a bit around the eyes...was looking a bit...well..YIKES!

I took the girls out and gave them a good feed with 20ml of TP w/3ml of tea in 2 gallons of water. They will be due for their Brix Foliar tomorrow.

They were still too top heavy. I was too timid with my topping at first...I threw caution to the wind and did it right this time. I also started to tie down some of the branches. It's all about experimenting this time and getting more aggressive with technique. I took the tops and will try to clone them for my nephew. We will see if they take.

I am ordering some more worm castings today. I only mixed a half batch of soil last time. I have enough left for 3 more 1 gallon containers to start my next plants in when I flip these. I'll get some more soil cooking this week.

Going to do a bit of cleaning. I'm sure the dust and fur aren't helping my allergies.

So tomorrow is back to recipe testing. I picked up some sorghum flour and some xanthan gum (replaces gluten in wheat flour). I am going to try the blueberry muffins sweetened with coconut palm sugar. Almond flour, sorgham flour, and xanthan gum will replace the wheat flour. The muffin recipe is so sweet, I think the lightly sweet coconut palm sugar will work just fine. The berries are sweet too.

You don't really need super sweet in the morning. Sugar bombs in the morning will make for a disastrous sugar spike and drop (if you are sensitive like I am). When I have sugar in the morning it affects my whole day's energy level and perpetuates poor snacking.

I was drinking a DD Caramel Swirl ice coffee daily for a while. 49 grams of sugar!! 340 calories. They tasted awesome! :battingeyelashes:

Now I make creamer with a combination coconut and almond milk, sweetened with dates, and a touch of vanilla...no refined sugar. It's not half bad! I steam the pitted dates (10-12) in a can of full fat coconut milk with equal amounts of almond milk and puree it. When cool, I add a little vanilla extract. It's sweet enough and I liked the mild coconut flavor. You can us any milks that you like really.

Cheers! LG
:yummy:

The girls are looking good this morning. They don't look any worse for wear from the topping and tie downs. The tangielope is going to be an absolute monster I think, but the super lemon haze smells divine. It's odd, she had more of a scent a few weeks ago than she does now. I bet she'll be a knockout when she flowers!

Lady G, I just read where you said you were getting ill. I'm glad you were able to take a pill for the allergies. I harvested my crop this morning, check out my grow.

Well...didn't get to the muffins today, but I did get to make some meatballs. I like to use ground cannabis because cannabis oil can leach out during the cooking process, along with the meat's own fats.

Lady Gaea’s Canna “Baked” Meatballs

Makes 30 golf ball sized meatballs

Ingredients:

2 pounds organic grass fed ground beef

1-1/2 cup of freshly ground good quality crusty bread

1-1/2 cup fresh grated Parmigiano-Reggiano

2 fresh eggs

½ cup water

4 cloves garlic, pressed in a garlic press or minced fine

¼ cup minced fresh Italian parsley

½ teaspoon of onion powder

½ teaspoon of salt

¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper

a pinch of red pepper flakes

3 grams decarbed cannabis flower . * I use a 10% THC & 10% CBD average cannabis for 10 mg dose per meatball. My calculations below. I'm a lightweight cannabis champion:battingeyelashes:! You may be a heavyweight!...Hey, this is a judgment free zone...but I'm a bit of a pansy! I said it...it's ok.!

Whisk the water and the eggs together. Place remaining ingredients in a big bowl. Pour egg and water over the ingredients and mix well. You can use a mixer for this but I prefer to mix by hand wearing food handling disposable gloves. Form into 30 golf ball sized meatballs.

Brown all sides in a skillet heated with oil and finish cooking in your sauce.

Alternatively you can bake these at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes and drop into your sauce.

Here is how I calculated my dose. If you use a higher % of THC, you may want to alter the number of meatballs you eat or alter the amount of cannabis you use.
  • 3 grams of 10% THC cannabis
  • 1000 mg in a gram so there is 3000 mg of cannabis in the total recipe
  • If your cannabis average is 10% THC, then 3000mg x .10 = 300 mg of cannabis per batch
  • There are 30 meatballs…so 300 divided by 30 = 10 mg of THC per meatball
  • If I eat 2 meatballs, I will get 20 mg of THC dose.

Happy Monday everyone! Back to the drudge. :nomo: More tie downs to do tonight I think. Will snap some pics too.

LG

Lucky you! Drinking my coffee and wishing I was back home in bed. Marathon Monday in Boston. Feel sorry for the runners..well it's time for me to adult now:rolleyes:

Gm all, miss G... Good recipe on meatballs, just a tweak from a friend, dont use a mixer, mix by hand... If you do mix by hand the meat stays course instead of smooth... cooks better and retains juices alot better... My friend left early this AM for the marathon, watching not running, likes DD too much for that.. LOL ..... Little sidenote, take a moment everyday to reflect on ones self and how you can not be an adult... Up yours establishment LMAO... Have a good one dear, off to work myself just now ish ;)

Here's a pic tonight of the girls. I'm dragging tonight so this is from their boudoir:battingeyelashes: Check them out and compare from their pics 8 days ago! :slide: Yup...these are gonna be some NICE plants!
