couldn't do it without your support, so please know your good words guide me to success. My love to you all, LadyG

It really does PW. I keep putting soil up to support her trunk. I have a fan that is pointed up to the dwarf star, your idea PW, so there is a breeze that moves these seedlings and building strength as we speak. If I did a video of it you would see it, but how boring would that be...hahahaha.

Also, I'm getting ready to put in my centre spikes to support them so I can do top and LST without slowing down the process by pulling leaf accidents. I got plans PW, but I must be so patient. Too exciting not to document daily.

Also, they say it's 80 days, so I'm counting how many extra days would be added on for training techniques. FUN WITH FLORA!

Keep in mind that autos do not give you extra days. They are on a fixed genetic timetable. It's a race against their clock, which is why most auto growers stick with LST for the first grows of a strain, maybe topping one and not the other to get an idea if it can take it. Topping can slow some if not many autos down, diminishing the harvest.

OH yah I forgot to mention. Lady #2 is gonna get the full training so I had put her in a 2 gallon pot, and Lady #1 is in a 1 gallon pot so I can just grow her out without touching and let the plant do her thang. Sometimes autos just want to be left alone, some are ready for the full training, it will be interesting to see.

EDIT: Thanks ITS, I will remember that, it's important. :thanks:

I don't believe I've shared arteekay's second journal with you. He and his housemate grew autos in the Canadian north with such talent that they had to stop growing because they had too much produce on hand. Don't we all aspire to that? arteekay was a master at training autos, pulling between 4-6 ounces per plant with consistency. His second journal is a veritable playbook on success with autos, beautifully and artfully created. Check out his retrospectives at each harvest. Breathtaking!

Awe Geez Sue! I was all set to turn away from Autos....I had to look at Arteekays journal....Need to buy more seeds now! Autos...

Day 9 - Sweet Coffee Ryder - 1 ml calmag & 1 ml root booster

Yesterday I raised the girls about 10 inches closer to my little veg light, they are loving it and growing faster since yesterday morning. I'm feeding every 2 day now too so they are establishing a routine which helps me.

When I filled these pots I always fill a bit low cause I know my seedlings will stretch somewhat. I felt like they were at a perfect growing spurt height so I topped up with more hp in order to keep these girls manageable. As you can see they are now balanced and supported, perfect height.

Lady #1 - Has had an extra layer of HP and she will just grow naturally. I'm going to just leave her alone and see how she produces without human manipulation.

Lady #2 - I have special plans for this lady, thanks ITS for reminding me. Since this sprout was the fastest growing one I put her in the 2 gallon pot originally. I'm glad I chose correctly because she is way bigger than Lady #1 so I added a stake in the middle to give her stalk support. This will allow me to pull her around a little without accidentally damaging her which used to happen to me before. I also added a top layer of HP to give more support and also make it manageable to manipulate her soon.

Isn't she beautiful? Much love AUTO LOVERS! I'll be back tomorrow to write to all the replies. :hugs:
