I don't understand it. It looks like it says pH on the top, but if it works for you then that's what matters!
 
Since I don't check ph, ppm or temp of water with toys, I try to match the ph, ppm with the 5.0 colour and 6.0 colour.

I check temperature of water by placing my wrist under the tap because I know the feel of proper temperatures.

I know it's not logical, but it will do until I can afford the toys.

Plus I'm 100% organic, and things seem to be less fragile, I've found a way of telling the shades of my nutes corrispond with the ppm and ph.
 
I never measure the temperature of my water (anywhere between 45 and 80º F probably) but didn't someone offer you a PPM meter for free? Organic grow or not, it might be helpful!

oh grow i apprecaite your love for growing and trying to keep her as organic as possible but unless you use bat shit and rain water lol thats as organic as it gets sadly. well kinda if you get my drift.

trust me im all about organic, but i just feel that you can be even more precised to better your skills instead of being in a frame area.. sorry not trying to piss on your parade just trying to make you consider thats all.

crap ill buy you one next week when my ei comes in 20$ ebay never done me wrong. i do rec you calibrate it monthly . unlike me i dont understand how to calibrate i know its simple i just always seem to mess it up somehow . thats being said this 20$ meter i bought i can see if they still sell them and buy you one. never changed batteries never calibrate i rinse with normal tap water and dry with paper towel . sometimes i clean using mild rubbing alcohol.

i promise you it wont break my bank its cool you will thank me later. just make sure you calibrate it like i don t do lol
