Kitchenhawk's Perpetual Grow Log

Update: Did some pruning and trimming on the veg tent, so that each plant has 7-8 tops. Now just gonna let them grow vertically the next couple weeks, and trim back a couple more times before flowering. I culled all my Raspberry Mumma's x Purple Pure Gooey ( gonna just call it Raspberry Goo from now on), because I needed more space for the Pamelina's and Mandarin Cookies, and moved the Tangie's over to the 2x2. I got what I wanted which was #6. When I killed them this one had a super strong Raspberry smell. I have #6 Raspberry Goo and 10 Tangies in the 2x2. Plan is to be able to take clones of Tangies and Raspberry Goo's for next run along with the beans I just popped. Popped 6 (Lemcherrypie x Cherry Chem) x (Blacklime Reserve x ?) Story is my buddy found 4 beans in a batch of black lime reserve he bought from norcal farms. He grew them out and got 2 females and 2 males. He said the females were some bad ass smoke, and he crossed the best looking male to his lemcherrypie x cherry chem mother which had lemon cherry and chem terps, so should be some crazy flavors in these beans hopefully. Looks like 1 of the beans has 2 tap roots? Twins? Not sure yet. I have heard of this, but never seen it first hand. Bopgun #10 clone is rooting, so that is gonna be interesting to watch how it turns around. I have it narrowed down to #2 and #10 Bopgun for smell and look test. #1 and #5 on the Blazing Blues. That's all for now. Thanks for stopping by.:thanks:

They were definatley twins. Sprayed the shell with a squirt bottle and it easily slid off. Got them both planted and labeled as twins just to see what I get. 2 girls, 2 boys, boy and a girl. Surely they are not identical? Does anybody know??? I have heard of this, but never experienced it first hand. Very cool either way.

I don’t know how reliable it is but I read that one twin will be an exact genetic duplicate of the mother plant, like a clone and the other a normal plant with mixed genetics. Seems like an awesome thing to me.
:passitleft:
That would be nice! :passitleft:

Oooh I found where I read it, it was on sensi seeds site, so who knows how reliable it is. It was on this page about common mutations. Top 10 Craziest Cannabis Mutations - Sensi Seeds Blog
Thanks. Just read that. That would be badass, because I just contacted my buddy over the weekend asking him about the beans he sent, and he told me the mom had strong cherry with slight lemon and chem flavors and was very stinky, so that would be nice!:ganjamon:

Can’t wait to see how they grow.

The part that bugged me about that article is “However, while this is an interesting mutation, it does not confer much advantage to the breeder”. Lol if it can make an exact clone in seed form it sounds like it confer’s a huge advantage.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing.:passitleft:

Awesome setup man. Mind if I pull up a seat? Those gummy bears looked awesome too..
:goodjob:
:thanks:and:welcome:. Here hit this :passitleft:....... The gummy bears were my first time making them. They do the job, but next batch I am gonna make some adjustments and hopefully flavor should be more on point.

Here are some Flower tent pics. The Bopguns are at 37 days and the Blazing Blues 33 days.

:welcome: back funk fans. Here is a couple pics of 2 of the 3 keepers from the current hunt. Bopgun #2 has a lemon pledge aroma, and Blazing Blues #5 is sugar glazed blueberry muffins. :drool:Bopgun #10 was in the back of the tent so no pic today, but she is the 3rd keeper. She smells like peach, mango, funk. Totally different than #2. Hence the reason 2 will be kept for now. (Bopguns are day 47 and blazing blues day 43 post flip).

Those are some nice genetics you got there. Very resinous and I love the colors coming out. :goodjob:
Thanks! Yes, great genetics for sure. I did not know much about Oni when I bought the Bopgun I just thought it sounded like a fun cross and took a chance. I am more than pleased. It is a very good yielding dosido cross. These plants are packing it on better than anything I have run in awhile. I saw that Oni seeds are about to release Tropgun (Tropicanna F2 x Bopgun), so apparently they think the line is good also.
