KitasCountryRoots' 2nd Adventure - White Widow - Bag Seed

Day 40 Veg
I did some lst a few days ago by tying down the stems to let light in. Still struggling with Bag Seed 1, I guess it's just a heavy eater, still not sure if it's a keeper. Still not dead though! The other 3 are doing fine. I've been crazy busy lately, so sorry for the long absences.

Yours are looking great! Your two femme fatale silent widow assassins look hungry. When you planning on givin em some more sleep?

Also, u not scroggin this time? Im not right up on scrogging. Dont u scrog during veg?

Also, u using your new light yet?

thanks Muzzy! Congrats on the new job

I plan on vegging around 8 weeks, give or take. I want them to be in perfect health when we switch to flower! Both the Bag Seeds were showing calcium and potassium deficiency, so I've been trying to remedy that before switching.

I'll get back to you on the scrog, now would be the perfect time to install it! but I'm leaning towards not doing a scrog.. I have to make a decision soon, because I'm running out of veg time! Yes you can install the screen at any time, but the top of the screen has to be at least 8-10" from the base of the pot. I tied down the stems in lieu of scrogging in early veg. If that makes since.

They get the new light for 12/12 plus another 300watt shortly after

Hey bignstrange! Life's been good, plants are healthy! I forget to post on here or simply don't make time too, but I'm still trucking along I'll try to be better!! thank you for checking in!

How are you?? Your journal is my next stop, I need to catch up!

Well... Bag Seed1 turned out to be male, but the other 3 are females, so I'll take it! Just need to defoliate a good amount under the screen and rearrange, add the extra light (goal is to finish this today) A couple days of rest and then switch to 12/12

Also started 5 feminised sour diesel seeds in paper towels this morning

I'm good! Life is the same as always . my plants are still small but loveable lol, don't worry about reading it all.my journals getting bigger than I thought it would .

Glad to hear you got 75 percent females! That's pretty lucky in my opinion, I always seem to get males with reg seeds:( and amazing eyes catching those balls so early! I would be waiting a week to decide what those are XD you got a damn good sense for these plants Chakita, another reason I bug you so much, you've got so much to teach!

Yay sour diesel! That'll be a great grow! Are you starting another space for them or are you all set up already?

The 2 White Widow were feminised, only 2 were bag seed, but I still feel lucky! They could have both been males. The preflowers were so tiny on the male, I had to use a microscope to determine the sex. The female was a bit more obvious, imo.

I have very little to teach and sooooo much to learn but I thank you kindly, as we like to say in the south

I'm all set up for the sour diesel in my 24"×48"×60" tent. They will have a loooong veg (8-10 weeks) waiting for my other plants to finish flowering in the 32"×48"×60".
 
Yea females are easier to spot-a bit nicer to look at .

Yay well I'll keep bugging you when I get curious about what's going on! I'm definitely excited to see what you'll do with the extended veg time. It will really give you a chance to set those girls up to maximise yield!
