How strong do you want it? I would grind it up finely and do about 7g, you can just wrap it in a foil package. I think 230 for an hour a safe, but decarb ing Temps and times are always controversial. Let cool completely before unwrapping foil to preserve terpenes. 7g/4oz (1 stick of butter), but there will be some volume loss, so I usually just top up my yield to end up with 4oz total.

When you air dry you can lose up to 30% of your terpenes the first day. Low and slow in a fridge tends to preserve the terpenes. It can actually change the high you get from a specific strain.

Of course you can use more . . As much as you can fit, really if that's what suits you. Such a high dose isn't necessary for most folks, though, and may actually put off some patients. I just think that the accepted scale is about an oz:lb of fat.

Oh the update lol duh

I put it on tray baking sheet with tin foil down with about 32 grams of shake some
Fans little ones. Bud trimmings and pop corn buds that just could t be used . then covered it with another layer of tin foil in oven at 230 for timer 110 mins . the smell right now is strong . Smells like the taste you get from a chocolate mediastinal Taste . P xpress trimmings from few months back will snap a pic when it's down cooling. Then should I fridge it or able to use it to proceed to make butter ?

Lol. As an edible chef, I wish my tolerance was much higher. It's a job requirement to sample my goods, for quality control, you know . ...unfortunately for me some of my patience have a much higher tolerance than me. I samples batch of butter tarts I made last night and I'm honestly still touched! Lol. I prefer a smaller dose so that I can eat more. !
