King's Headband 818 - Indoor - Coco - Mars Hydro LED - Winter Grow

I think if we refrain from over feeding and concentrate on environment more a lot of our problems would never happen. I truly believe that less is more when it comes to nutrients.

Let's see what 600-700 ish ppm can do for me ..

Do that buddy! Be as proactive as you can. Like I was telling my son before he tries out for his HS baseball team on Saturday, people like to see enthusiasm!

Yeah I'm doing it buddy just got busy with kitchen and life today but in my priority list .

Hope you didn't mind me dropping your name there. Jus wanted to start helping my team out more.
Cheers

No worries buddy

No need to worry bud this an open site I don't mind paying it forward and looking out any help let me know .

Can't vouch for the research but:

For what it's worth, Leafly agrees with most of this.

Hey Joe, what's new from the Canadian cannabis folks regarding possible employment?
Very good read! nice!

I get hints of pine in trainwreck for example but it doesn't quite do what I mean. In fact I was surprised to see so many sativas listed which is actually very promising because I kind of prefer the sativa leaning hybrids but I really like the strong Pine I think Lemon Pledge is a little better description of what I like but Pine is also a good one strong artificial Pine like Pine-Sol.
I think it might be the more indica, pine plus something else, sagey? possibly enterage effect, something a little minty or merhol is there too in both that help.

I agree with you on environmental focus.

it is absolutely insane how much less I'm feeding from my first grow and then I was light on times fed due to amount. I was in soil using half recommended Fox Farm full line and that was an insane amount of fertilizer at 1500-2000ppm. now im lucky to hit 750ppm.
... but, I don't trust ppm anymore lol. something never felt right so I don't even check it but for flushing. maybe EC at a later time.

see, it seems certain nutes don't register the same as others. seems most ppm come from micro. makes sense its all the metal.
that means I can dump bloom in to toxic level and not know reading ppm. I won't but could add it twice by mistake check ppm and if I didn't have a control wouldn't seem too far off and poison them.

Does that track for others or maybe I have bad pens?

but all that aside, my fear is that they starve, loose weight especially on a low yield strain like im running.

For my environment, I just need to get light distance down. I have been too far away last grows with loose buds. Getting the light closer causes nutrition/watering issues which brings me back to the nutrients lol. never ending cycle. I think the more they drink the less they nees to eat. That isn't a true statement for real, it just a wayvto think about it.
I mean mix solution lighter and they drink more water without forcing salts into the plant. so in your head adding less nutrients seems less food but they drink more.

sorry for the book lol. good discussion. how to others run 1000w hps from canopy and how do you tune in the nutrition?

The thing is your plants will tell you if they want more nutes. It's easier to up the solution a bit than to try and correct a situation where it's to hot.

I've just spent roughly two months over feeding some super nice plants. Lesson learned, the buds don't suck by any means, but I bet they could be a whole lot better. I'm actually cutting the regimen back to basics and leaving a lot of the fancier bottles on the sideline for a cycle to see how the plants respond. I suppose I'm fine tuning my feeding plan.

:thumb:my 1000 hps is 12 " from canopy but it is also on a mover so it doesn't sit to long in one spot, eliminating hot spots.:Namaste:

Naw man just chillin guys think I have a stye coming on in right eye?

Hurts to blink lol

Here are a few pictures I'll do a formal update tomorrow .
