Reviewing this make me think I need to stop counting days and go with plants growth stage ? How well it's coming I understand now that these days or weeks are guidlines to follow more or less so if you had a successful veg and bloom then your amber would start to show up around the time frame a seed company has given correct or am I off here ?

I'm not really sure about that. The amber thing is prolly gonna be more environmental to some degree, heat, humidity, and amount of time on the tree. I look at the time frames as guidelines. I've harvested early and I've harvested at the 9 week mark with the same strain. I just look at the plants and let them tell me what's up. If you're going to work with the same strain then you can get dialed and really find your sweet spot. The harvest time that works best for your needs.

I'm not looking for a super heavy hitting bud, cause I'm usually pretty active when I smoke, other people might grow the same strain and let those trichs go super amber before harvest. More amber equals more sleepy or so I've read. Then of course you've got the Indy's and Sativa's that also have their own characteristics too.

I don't worry about the veg stage, I just push when I'm ready for them to flower. A big factor for me is the height of my flower tent. I can't let them get too tall or they won't fit the tent...

A lot of people wait until they see between 10 & 20% amber then they cut. Part of the fun of learning!!!

The only perfect time is when you're ready, but you prolly don't wanna go to far past the breeders recommended, final finish date.

Good man went out to Burlington with the boss to drop some core samples off work stuff . Has nothing else to do so kept him company and caught up now about to go feed the ladies. And post pics soon .

Yeah I gotta 9-5 for a software company. I get to work from home cause we're internet based. My office phone plugs into the router. I could literally do my job from anywhere with internet. Even the moon when they get that shit set up...

I found a really interesting chart on ppfd and flower times! It basically shows that at 600 ųmols/m3/s flower times almost double. Half the light energy twice the flower time..... just a thought. But joe you have a great light set up imho and the distances you have really dialed in!

So I would say flower times are an estimate! Perfect environment and good genotype will maybe be even faster! ...or slower

Also keep in mind when they have strains like AK 48, which claim a 48 day flower period that's not from sprout, or even from flip to 12 12, but from the time pistils start showing.... which will often lead people to believe the plant is taking longer when in fact they just misinterpret the claims of the breeder.

I'm not in canada... too warm . Jk I'm in central alaska though so I'm not too familiar with how things are run over east of us.... maybe just Google It! If you have a script they will mail you meds, overnight! Or so I have heard.

Alaska isn't even medical just 100% legal.... medical and recreational patients alike go to the same shops. Which sucks for those who need meds 20 a gram is crazy expensive! Eddibles are almost a dollar a mg . Thank God I found 420 and arctic bowl!!! Dude just grabs me a half gallon jar of chronic. Love it. Doesn't even measure in grams or ounces . Just says, "I grabbed you a half gallon".

Hey Joe here's a little something I started doing a while back. I tape a small note card to all my plants in 1 & 3 gallon containers. OTM called them Toe Tags... Anyway it's just a note card with the strain, and the dates that I water or feed. Just write it in as you go. You will start to see a pattern and then you'll just start to know when they need water or food. Of course with the ladies in flower I also write the flower date and at the bottom of the card I write a rough harvest date, usually at the 8 week mark but that's gonna be strain dependent.

Been tieing down everyday to open it up today I cut a few fans that seemed to be in way I think big bomb I will be more patient and top at 3rd node.
Ppm going in today was 400-430ppm

253 ppm for big Bomb

Starkiller og no luck found the missing seed on floor so through out . So I dropped og critical in cup . more info if it pops then give updates. Need to get better paper towel . Think my neighbor gave me buck store paper towel it's drying out like crazy I'm thinking .

Some shots will hopefully be able to leave alone now let grow ticking where I need to and trying to keep the top half lower to half of bud branch growth .

oh nutes came in today thanks to demonic angel used same source as last time got a free 250 ml of bud candy to add this round .
