King's Headband 818 - Indoor - Coco - Mars Hydro LED - Winter Grow

That OGC - emerald triangle - looks like serious buddage. You got foxtails and no amber. Shit could be 2 more weeds :smokin2:Lets hope so buddy only feeding 450 now ppm and it’s coming out 775 now

I love me some foxy ladies! Y-U-R.

Bro what Vacuum & chamber setup did you get? :theband:For my set up since not commercial runs. Only needed a 3.7cfm bacong complete package to door amazon 250$ that is with ordering 25’ roll of ptfe paper ✊ have you made your own before ?

Drying plants:

Chop, trim off all the fan leaves that are still left.
Hang full plant upside down from a hook on the ceiling with a few fans running 24/7. Winter early spring. 3-4 days. Rest of seasons 5-8 days. Take down & trim ---> jars with Boveda packs. Trim when buds are crunchy when squeezed.
okay so I’m not off then. :yahoo:

Reason for hanging whole plant. Plant is still alive, just no roots and why flowers sit in a vase and stay alive. The same thing but the hanging plant, the flower gets moisture from the stems (upside down - gravity fed). I've chopped plants and seen pistols shoot out on plants upside down after chop.

:circle-of-love:Made me pause. Could probably feed the plant some chemicals (or organic nutrients) this way... thinking out loud.
:rollit:Thinking medicinal use.. could change the world with cannabis.

Yes I read that about stems and the hanging upside down someone before . Great reminder though . Makes sense to me. Only thing I don’t do is hang plant upside as a whole I do branches so I can wash my plants first makes it easier.

So due to freezing rain on top of two feet of snow my weed tea will have to wait but at least I got what I need for when I get time to buy few items to enhance taste .

Sighs ...

I can only agree, Joe. I am very impressed with the Bombs. My final for 2 plants in a 2x4 will be between 8 - 9 oz. I think that is pretty good. And I know I could have done better.

Thanks Joe. I did go ahead and chopped my CBDutch Treat. Long 3 1/2 hours of chop and trim.
Well worth it I’m sure buddy

Most silica is just K, but it's used to strengthen the stems as the plant gets into flower. Some folks stop toward the end of flower because they say it changes the taste of the buds. This grow is my first time using it so I'll probably go with the general wisdom which is use for the first three weeks of flower.
Thanks for sharing so replace it with a pk booster ?

If you want more K then yes. I think most growers use it to strengthen the stems rather than as a nutrient. The K is an added bonus rather the the purpose.
Makes sense ✊

Yeah you do the doc bud-washing thing... what I do is hose my plants down with RO water and coconut water mixed in and a few other goodies.. rinse off the dust pretty much, wait a day or 2 and chop. Have to wipe up the floor after chop to get the grime I rinsed off the plants.

I let my plants get too tall to do that traditional bud washing.... branches dont fit... cut em down then I have a shit ton of branches... like hanging laundry. That's a lot of work.

Congrats on your harvests and that snow looked awesome.. I think some more is coming!

I'm in Philly and we just had another nor'easter. If it was 5C cooler, it have been an epic snow storm. So it was 38F for 1.5 days and rain with wind to beat the balls... then wind direction change after lunch today, temps went to 65F for about 2 hours, then back down to 45F and dropping to 31F tonight. I'm just glad no tornado's.

There are organic forms of silica, like Horsetail fern tea, which has silica in spades without the excess K. Strengthen stems yes... still get "The Flop" at the end, nothing but cola!

Hey @bobrown14 dollar store for a drop sheet to lay down on floor save you time mayeb for clean up buddy?

Well I guess next run I’ll start adding 3 or four days after flip maybe run it for few weeks see what comes . Try a mill per gal mayeb see what happens after week takes it no issues bring it up a tad?

Hope mr brown is well :passitleft:

So OGC yesterday brought out loupe been checking every day to be honest lol anyways seeing some tips with amber so my goal is to see abit more amber 10-20 percent I think and do a quick three day flush as ppm put is 700 now got it down from
1200 over a week or less with not flushing but back off to 1/4 dose nutes ppm
In 2.5 ml cal mag per 3 lites
1.25 ml micro per 3 litres
2.5 bloom per theee litres
Every third day or so flying skull z7 1.35 a and b parts to just shy a gal.3 litres ish

It’s eating once a day still rh 30% temp 77 f

Do notice more depth on her and still popping out new pistils white. Lol I’m thinking hopefully by Saturday I can run til pot is dry in dark 24-48 hrs 48 kinda long for coco. So 24 is more suitable of soil my medium would take longer to dry out 48 hrs lol make sense ?

Then axe and wash and hang . Can’t wait to smell these in a month after jarred .

Some pictures got creative lol

Big bomb -bomb seeds been in jar since 14th
