Joe another question, so week 6 after flip is a good time to do a defoil? Also, when counting down days to mature is that number from the flip to 12/12 or days from when you see flowers?

I'm kinda remembering where I snipped little puffballs from previous harvests and am thinking that's what to cut.

That pile you removed looked big! Just doing some planning by following your grow buddy.

It's hard to say but rule of the man is white pistil you see coins what ever days flower not from time you flip .

As they is stench phase or induction or ore flower stage .
Can last up to three week before you see pistils coming .

Then count day one . I know that most statins don't take long to got to Amber from the time is ripening I see cloudy and any amber I start flush. Think of a bud as a banana.

For ripeness see how long it took but last few weeks hang hit it's potential ?

Hey just did some reading. In grow weed easy and wow. Think I need to reduce my nitrogen now get that lock out of nitro that is stopping my bloom . So see if I reduce micro my question is. Is iron a big role in flower ? As I notice it has some trace iron in it so if I reduce or stop using my micro base all together and stay on bloom and cal mag for ppm. As cal Amy has 1-0-0 for nitro micro is I believe 2 0 00 and bloom has 1-3-4. So if I cut my nitro out in micro would that hurt do you know ? Trying to get good smoke here quality right ?
Never mind I just saw what I have been doing g wrong . I need to reduce more nitrogen in my medium. I'm on it.

Great explaining! Thank you for explaining how to start count down Joe! I never knew that timing. I put these in 72hr dark, I noticed it really made that wait time decrease from 2-3 weeks to 1.5-2. The Tangerine dream I grew started those pistols likea 5-6 days after. I loved that strain it was so easy to grow. If you dropped a clone it just grew roots 3-4 days, you flipped it budded. By mistake I found out it took about 2 weeks to return to veg....

I was also interested in your defoil as you clipped a pile! And you mentioned week 6. About 45 days into flower? Do I have that right? I know you constantly defoiled a few here and there but this seemed Sig.

As for my past grows with this strain she pops amber so fast. I started seeing like an amber tricomb, then started flush. After a week I took another look and bang it was 65%. I couldn't believe it. Well it may have been more than a week but that's y I'm making a f journal haha.

Hey man glad to help anytime buddy. Best of my understanding , I'm not perfect and make mistakes but I try buddy .

. keep your head up I know I'm a hypocrite to my own words there but. It brings me happiness seeing me be able to help someone . Gives me my peace I need inside ya know ...

Plants look superb! Are you doing AN 3part? The key is to alter their recommended feeds. They say use equal parts grow micro bloom. I always used 10 grow 8 micro 15 bloom. So half the micro as the bloom and the grow somewhere between the 2 if that makes sense. I wouldn't sweat much d use your killing it!

That also is based on your tent size and light intensity correct your nutrients allowed for that uptake correct ?

Doesn't mean that chart will will work though correct ?

Correct. The equal parts will work just fine. But I always kept my micro as low as the plants would tolerate because it had the most nitrogen. Idk man just keep doing what your doing cause it's working really well!

Yeah I think I figured it out . Kinda .

No pics joe. Too embarrassed lol actually it's the apps fault lol they honestly look fine. But the yellowing drives me nuts. I'm capable of better. The yellowing makes me feel like it's botched but it's really not. I just have high standards lol and I think dr Thomas plant energy is my culprit. It has trichabolic (spelling) acids and too much can cause a reduction of P and K uptake. Took some reading but I found 3 like articles that explain potential damage of too much of those acids. So I'm fairly confident that's what went wrong the last couple months and it's been removed from the nute line. Either thT or I'm mixing my soils too hot now. I do a light organic mix of bone meal and other amendments loaded with the essentials. But I may need to remove these extra additives for a bit and slowly put them back in. I was dialed completely but I made a few minor tweaks and threw everything all out of whack. It's funny how that happens.

Yeah I am learning and seeing that myself now A days too.

I think I need to worry about my base nutes then less trace . See how they respond to them maybe certain genetics don't like certain stuff too ?
