I had to learn the hard way lol, I wish I took the time or even had the mindset to think it was the water that was causing those calcium deficiencies. These plants wanted EXTRA calmag lol. It looks like you have a top drip feeding your coco? I'm gonna do a flood and drain setup and use rockwool cubes in another 4x4, or at least that's the current plan.
 
@Greenvein I agree with what you said though, dwc can be a lot of work sometimes. I like the control of it though and the heavier yields. How often are you having to do res changes, stabilizing ph, ect?

Yeah bud drain to waste 👍 top feeding allows you to run more a hydro style grow. Monitoring run off you can see how much the plants eating/drinking and root PH. It's just a bit more forgiving

I think flood and drain results a the best there is lol I've seen some phenomenal plants grown with this system. My old buddies usd to grow with nft system which they gave me but I'm about to cut it up and take it to the tip 🤣 rock wool and tap water will save money on the calmag too 👍

I don't have roots in my water nor does my run off return to the tank so I never have to do any sort of Res change.. I have a 80L Res in the tents which I will check my pH every morning but usually stays the same 👍

Im heading towards the autopot system where the plants just drink as they please and I just took up my resovoir whenever it's low so the plants basically grow themselves 🤣 no pumps no timers no drainage 🤞

Man that sounds like the way to go. I was In a hydroponics store recently and they had em for about $400 total, selling two pcs sets.
 
Tonight they had a res change and I reduced the nutrients because they don't see to be as hungry as what they were. I smoked a sample bud from the bottom of the plant that's finishing the fastest and it already tastes good and it had me stoned most of the day, I'm really impressed with it. It's the one with the frosty purple buds, enjoy the pics.

I harvested yesterday at 97 days and all four plants have a different smell. The purple one has a fruity smell like a sweet orange, not really citrus though, more like the little cuties from wal-mart. The smallest of the 4 had a pepper smell which is a first for me, real pepper. They are hanging in the 4x4 with a temp and rh of 70/55. I'll give an update on the dry weight in a couple weeks, in the meantime I have 2 other grows I can focus on. Thanks for following along, come check out the other grows.

Thanks @Greenvein I appreciate it bro, I'm really happy with it so far. I'm ready to see what they really taste like. You've had the mimosa x Orange Punch? You're right, I'm falling in love just off the pictures and reviews. I hope she can live up to the pedestal I put her on already, I've been on the hunt for something that's a good, strong citrus flavor.

Yeah I ran some autos but didn't look after them so they weren't big plants but she's definitely what your looking for citrus and a heavy smoke. I had two phenos and the one with less colour in it had so much more trichomes. Another unique citrus auto was do-si-do she hermied when I went on holiday but she smelt like pure orange to me so I would definitely grow them two autos again 👍
 
This BB is still hanging in the tent drying. I took a little out to sample it and I'm impressed. The scent it's giving off is a lime meets diesel and the taste is a smooth earthy flavor. Great job @Herbies Seeds!!

Thanks bro, I appreciate it. I might submit a photo for the contest, I'm gonna trim up the rest of that bud and see if I can get a good picture. My galaxy ain't bad but it's not professional photos like some of the other people on here.
