Kief's DWC White Widow Tent Grow

Hey everyone,

So it has been 10 days since my last update. I flipped the WW to 12/12 on the 5th so it is 8 days into 12/12 and looking good. Not much of a stretch yet though.

The kush and SLH are being LSTd and vegging. They are so different from eachother. Kush is fat and stubby slh is long and lanky. Which means the kush is hard to lst and the slh is very easy.

Ok well on to the pictures. Please feel free to ask, critique, comment and question.

First 2 pics are the WW on march 8. 3 days into 12/12

Good job on the WW...you are going to get a good yield off her...i can't get my seedling to survive in rockwool..so i took one of my clones out of soil...washed the soil out of the roots and put it into DWC...she is doing great..

Wish I had that kinda luck. Did the same with my lemon kush and they are struggling really really bad, Infact, ones not growing at all.

She is tremendous. Im noticing that 9 days after 12/12 im not getting much of a vertical stretch seems like it is just geting wider

I just flipped my headcheese two weeks ago and have been noticing a vertical growth but not as much as everyone said I would. Not unless something is wrong but they look healthy and happy. Your plants are looking great!

Thanks for stopping in Alaska what happened to the lemon kush?

I wish I knew. We got the seeds from a friend who had a hermie and this was our first attempt at growing from seeds. Once they sprouted pretty well we put them in red solo cup in potting soil. They did just "ok" in the soil but never really took off. Once I was ready to start a new grow I washed the roots off, soaked them in Tecnoflora Thrive Alive Red for 15 minutes and transplanted them into hydroton in the flo n gro system. From there they have just never taken off. Look healthy just no growth.

Kief, I have a newbie question for you, my first post. What do u have in the top of your soil...the little brown ball things? I'm embarrassed to even ask but I have been searching the site and can't find the answer.

Thx in advance and good luck on the grow!

And they can be used on top of soil to deter bug from laying eggs

Ahhhh THAT'S what they are, man I've been trying to figure that out for a week! :thanks: Yeah ive seen many journals of soil grows using those. :thumb:

Thanks a ton guys. I've been lurking and reading a ton every day. Taking a lot of notes and getting prepared. I am absolutely loving this site!

this site is really fun to lurk around. theres so many things to do. voting for the contests start in the next couple days. dont forget to vote tx420. 3 polls open in 2 days and 1 is open right now for the 420 logo contest.

if you put those rocks on top of your soil you'll be set to go. plus their easy on the eyes.

oh yea rinsing them till your exhausted is basicially the main rule to cleaning hydroton off.

i put the rocks in a strainer and run water over them for a LONG time and i'll check by puttign the strainer in a bowl of water and submerging them in ti and if theres any red powder in the water i still have work to do. my process takes me anywhere from 20-45 minutes lol
