KelticBlue's Ace Seeds Regular - Indoor - Soil - Mars LED - Small Tent

Got the Tent on 12/12 now gonna make sure I have a boy plant before I do anything with it.
My job has me traveling about 3 -4 days a week . I leave tomorrow in the early am. Tent is on cruise control for the next week.

Here are some picture from the tent set up inside.

On the left we have a 120mm intake fan running at half speed vented toward the top of the Mars LED. The mars fans blow down over the lights and heatsinks.

On the right we have the 6 inch exhaust duct with inline fan running out side the the carbon filter.

for Inner circulation I have a clip on fan at canopy level.
wish I had an oscillator.

Right on! Glad the Lacto B is doing you proper. I recently took on a job that has gone into overtime. A lot of overtime... Unfortunately, my grow journal kinda came to a halt, along with a lot of other things. Most notably, my veggie garden. I have about 6 more weeks left on my particular floor, and then I plan on starting a new journal. In the mean time, I still have a few plants growing, but I don't have time to document it. I have my soil from the last run waiting in the wings. It should be interesting to see how my no till soil will preform. I'm expecting it to be better than the first run. Anyway, I'll be here following along, and will let you know when I start my new journal. BTW, your bud from the last harvest looks killer. Talk to you later.:thumb:

Cy, Thanks for stoping. :thanks: Gonna have to make some more Lacto as a back up. My environment is not perfect but about as best as it has been ever.

I am got a boy plant to deal with. What to do with a beautiful baby boy. I have some Auto beans and fems on the way. I am thinking with just the one boy plant at the moment I can grow it out a bit and get pollen. And or transplant it.

So what to do. I only have the one pot with the good soil. So my thought is to remove the boy plant and put it into a pot the I have a scallion planted in with old crappy soil. It currently sits in a window that gets about 4 hours of direct sun and a bunch of reflected light from the buildings and windows around. (( Hmm, i could build more soil :hmmmm: ))

So I wanna transplant it, if it dies no bud loss. If it lives pollen and a new experiment. I have never transplanted a bigger plant indoors. I am anxious. Meh not really, I am more worried about my next beans getting thru. Auto CBG will be my next sprout.

So super cold this week. I dont want to sprout till I see some warmer days.

Boy plant pics to follow.

I figure If i transplant into an old pot I need to double clean the pot all over to get any remaining mildew or baddies. Before the pot goes into my tent with the transplant. And at first the boy transplant will have to live in the tent to reduce shock as much as possible after transplant. Keep same temp and light schedule for at least a week before it moves anywhere, for as long as possible i hope. Pictures of the beautiful boy.
Abouut 6 day 12/12. and 5 weeks from sprout. It is a compact thing. I low stressed the top in veg bending it over. trying to keep it compact.

The boy sacks are growing.

  • Pineapple CHunk
  • Pre 99 Big Bud

That is some great news! :goof:

Hey there KB - checking out your new grow ... looking like you're getting off to a good start. Love to see that organic no-til going! :thumb:

Hey I was noticing you were somewhat stressing on the new seedlings and that "mildew" - it's not mildew I'd hold off on the spray there. This time of year its going to be difficult to grow mold and mildew - the air is too dry. Mold/mildew start showing up when the RH is up around 70% or more - need more for mildew for sure.

What that outer layer on the stalk of the plant is natural. It's part of the growing plant generating new cells generating bark.

Here's a read on it:

More on Morphology of the Seed Plants

You're good, your plants are very healthy. If you want to start an IPM routine that's a great thing to do. If seedlings get mold or mildew they usually die and pretty quick, usually from over watering.

I do it way more than I like to admit ... I just went 3 for 3 dead.. transplanted too soon into my coots mix - too hot for the little ones. I usually just transplant into a very mild mix of worm castings, peat moss and aeration, but I had a big box of CC mix sitting there waiting for me ... oopsie.

Yeah subbing in here love to see organics FTW! Looks like your last run went well from the pics of the nugs!!

Great job, keep it green.

Hey there KB. . .

Thank you for checking on me. You have said in a post with a couple of words what had me worried for weeks.

In Hindsight, You got it Spot On.
I had an attack of mildew after harvest last year and was overcompensating. "I just know it will come back."

Any who.. I have killed 2 or three sprouts out of 5 in the last 2 months. But I have 2 sprouts alive at the moment. One of which is an Auto CBG. I still have time to kill it.

Quick personal update: I have had me hands full last week and this week is gonna be just as bad. My wife was out of commission with back pain last week and her brother's funeral is tomorrow. That is just the tip of the iceberg. So no real update till maybe later in the week.
Gotta get ready to go to Philly tonight for the funeral tomorrow. Funerals seem to be the only feckity time the family gets together but is what it is and will good to see each other.
Time to take a handful of aspirin substitute and put my driving shoes on.:Namaste:

Cheers.
