She looks wicked ready Keith!
 
I am going to try washing my buds, If I remember correctly 2 5-gallon buckets with 4 gallons water 1 warm with 3/4 cup baking soda and 3/4 lemon juice. The other bucket has cold water (Tap temp) 4 gallons This will be something new around these parts. Maybe I will start something new around here. Did you do anything special after water rinse> I think it was shaking the stem and hang to cure. I want to make this the best tasting I can.
 
Tap water is fine for both unless it's really cold. And you might want to go with 2 rinse buckets to make sure they're clean in the end. I do one bucket rinse but I also hose them off after the wash before they get the rinse bucket.

I shake them off and hang them to drip dry in from of a big fan. I trim while they're hanging but a lot of folks trim when they're dry.

After trim they get hung for as close to a week as possible for drying.

Then there's two weeks of burping and then they get jarred for curing.
 
Cut day is here it is a super nice sunny day. Got my cutters all clean and ready to go. I will take some pics. I want to thank everyone here for all the help when I showed up here, I did not have an idea of what I was doing and still do not know that much. Shed and Bill I could not have gotten to this day without your help. 420 is the place to be.

Got a bag of trim for my niece I think I wasted more than I got but it was a learning experience. I did not wash the bud got no time I have to go to my son's house to help repair some windows on the garage. It is all hanging for a week or so then jars. I have to get my moisture tester when I'm at my boy's house.

My Prescription Blend came today so I can check it off my list. Next, I need seeds Pineapple Chunks. I still have 16 seeds that are Sour Deisel I hope I can trade for a better strain on them. I may try and grow 1 Sour D. and take it as far as possible. We will see plenty of time. Hell, I have never grown from seed, and it will be another learning lesson.

It’s not difficult personally I like to use Ed Rosenthal’s method it’s always worked for me. CL🍀
 
Congrats on getting that chopped and hung Keith! If there's a way to block the light it's best to dry, burp, and cure the flowers in darkness.
