Wow man that room looks amazing How do you like that bluelab controller? Considering getting one but would love to hear some opinions from an actual person and not just posted reviews on rainforest.

The controller is mint as long as you have a idea how your mixing.
it’s a set it and forget device but it helps to know how and what your plants are feeding on week to week

what I mean by this is if you mix in strong and your plants aren’t feeding hard and drinking lots your ph by nature will drop and then the controller will come on and keep dosing ph up in the mix in turn rising your ec more throwing the mix more out of balance for the plants needs at that time.


plants needs change every week in flower and having the ability to target any number I want and hold it there helps lots.

Many people go by ph drift but I don’t let my ph drift and I don’t chase it.
I look at my plants and target any ph I need to to keep whatever element readily available. if the plants r mint I target the range to keep the elements readily available for the next weeks needs.
I try to feed and prime my plants this week for next weeks needs. ( needs change weekly in flower)

The other benefit of the controller is stability. Stability across the board in res and environment will net you very consistent grows time and time again.

All in all if your going to grow hydro for along time absolutely worth it.
If your just seeing if hydros for you maybe hold off because it carries a heavy price point.
I’m real stoned now so i will stop rambling and melt into my sofa lol

That is exactly what i needed to hear. As soon as i can, we’re picking up one of those bad boys. We would like to run ours just like yours, no drift, just targeted deliberate ph settings. Thanks for the info

Hey everyone I hope all is well. Just making my way around in the grows this evening all is good.
My two cbd cuts r doing well and staring to root up nicely.

roots coming in

Probably transplant these on Sunday and with genetics secure I popped the other CBD in the flower room.

Now to make sure they r both females.
I kinda screwed my self for walking but I can make sure the r fem and see how they feed and grow just to give me a idea on how this stain is. After harvest I will have it lab tested to make sure it is as advertised. After all this if this CBD stain checks all the boxes it will only get better

Hey everyone I hope all is good and everyone is enjoying this wonderful Saturday.

Just doing some cloning this morning and setting up my next run to hit the flood and drain table.

My mix

I have ten cuts for my next run and 4 cuts for a friend outdoor grow.

The tent has been running steady these days lol.
I moved the two CBD cuts into the veg room and will be transplanted today at some point.

In the flower room I’ve got nugs starting to come in nicely.

Just in time for tonight’s flush and res change swapping to flower food.

Lmao actually running a real tight line over here because these clones have to be vegged and flowered out but time I go on vacation ( fishing) at the end August. I need to have these clones trimmed and the system shut down before I go. My whole life is a race against schedules lmao.

Hey everyone I hope all is good. I got a res change done in the flower room last night and the ladies r doing good.
Not much going on just tucking and keeping the ladies at bay trying to ride out their stretch.
I mixed in a bit lite and I should have upped the feed to 1.8 or 2.0 ec but I will adjust with this weeks top offs.

Here r the ladies just trying to stretch as we speak.

Keeping the canopy level is a full time job.

Keeping them clean underneath is just as much work

Got a question.. what bucket lids are those? They seem to fit down over the bucket better than most I've seen. And you just purchase the net pots separately?

Hey @dick23rk I hope all is good.
the buckets r future harvest development. They r owned by Monsanto or some bs like that. MO got there sticky fingers in there through buying hawthorn supplies. Hawthorn can be ordered from or you can get FHD stuff at homegrown hydroponics across Canada.

I have used and worked with many of these and the lids fit the buckets perfectly. I run them like this

I veg in the 5 inch on my flood and drain table then pop the insert into the netpot that fits the buckets when I transplant to flower.

They also have big netpots I use to run and they fit perfectly as well

They fit great as well but I got tired of cleaning clay pebbles so now I run with the inserts. Way less work.

I’ve been real busy and haven’t been around as much as I’d like to be.
Anyways I’ll always be back lol because I love 420 and the people around here and with that being said I’m just throwing out a update on a pass by my own journal.

Got around to getting the future CBD mom transplanted.

Moms r just hanging around doing mom things being real neglected and dry. It’s a good thing they love me and never get to fussy

Then there’s the clones and I haven’t even looked under the hood in 4 days but I will ph and add some hydro sparkle tonight.

Quick peek into the flower room and I can’t even get in there with the lights on lol. I know I need a good definition in there and I’m going to do that tomorrow night. Tonight is res change night.

My biggest edge when I’m real busy is having done this a million times and having built every aspect of my grow.
I’m in and out quick and I have a very strict check list that gets checked.

In saying that I also know I’m alway 1 alert on my phone from a disaster. Conference is a killer and the day you think you can do it with your eyes closed or have nothing to learn your screwed lol
