Katins's 2nd Micro Grow - White Widow Fem - 1 Square Foot Under LED

Not to still your spotlight Katins but I don't want to do a Journal just yet but can I post my pictures and see if mine is doing fine on ur journal? If u don't mind
I don't mind at all . but your own journal, which I see you started, will do you better. .

Not at all K! Looks tops. She's recovered so well. I think you're veg time is going to be heaps quicker this grow by the looks of it. She is powering!

.
Yeah, she made a big leap after I repot her. By the looks, veg time should be shorter by around one week.

The QB is doing an amazing job of keeping her short and squat! Looks good Katins, love the Indica dominant leaf structure. Will be some great smoke.

Yep just keep training you are doing a good and the plant is growing beautifully the QB is doing a great job. slowly train those budsites to the sides of the pot and start filling out that grow box... Lollipop all the growth underneath and see if you can't get you a bunch of quality tops going.

It's interesting seeing the growth differences between my lights... My QB120's (3000k) are great for flower but eh for veg especially compared to my mars hydro 300's when I look at my canopy the plant directly under the full spectrum lights are vibrant and bushy and the two on the sides getting mainly QB light are less bushy and more stretchy but still great and acceptable nonetheless just obvious differences... But that's jo surprise the mars is a full spectrum light and the QB's are a flowering spectrum not a veg spectrum like 4k+ though whenever I buy another QB it will probably be a 4k because they are great for a nice sized plant veg and flower... I believe it was luke can't remember though that had a qb120 in 4k spectrum and produced a fucking massive plant that yielded him around 2 grams per watt... but he had a nice large space too and damn it did a good job...

Well, to be honest, I am noticing this plant is stretching more than my previous one under CFL. But I think it is pure genetics. Also they grow completely different. If my previous plant, after topping started developing new branches at the top, this one, even before I topped it, already had "massive" lower branches compared to overall size.
And yeah, I already started sort of lolipoping . snipped off all lower new growth that is one or two nodes away from the trunk . had too many tiny popcorns down there the previous grow because of failing to do so.
Also I will try to limit my cola count to 10, maybe 12 strongest branches, as the 15 that I had last grow seemed a bit too crowded and maybe lower part of buds did not get the optimum amount of light.
I would love to have 2 g/W.. this would mean around 60 g per my grow box . but hell, be it 35 g this grow and I'm a happy camper .

That's where you will see the difference... The QB will dominate the CFL when it comes to flower and I'd honestly go for as many tops as you can produce just as long as you lollipop everything underneath it. Say you manage to get twenty colas and they are all between 1.5-2.5 grams well that's around 40 grams right there.

Environment and experience is really what it comes down to with getting those types of yields... In that area you are working in hitting 1 gram per watt would be great because it's such a small area it's not like you can produce 3-4 foot long colas so you need density on your side. I produced some very dense 3 gram nugs under the QB my first grow my only downfall was not vegging my plants out long enough so I didn't let my light live up to its potential.

Haha, no way I am going to squeeze 20 tops there man . we'll see how it goes. I know 15 is manageable. Also from previous grow I saw that only main tops produced bigger buds. The ones that grew from those main gave me roughly two times smaller buds.
Well, guess that mag be something to decide on the go .

Yeah the main branches will potentially get 3-4 grams+ while the smaller side ones will get around 1 maybe 1 and a half grams. Still worth it to cram in as many as possible imo it's just all about training defoliating and lollipopping the smaller stuff. I do remember it was pretty crammed the last grow but just in my opinion I think if you did a larger defoliation at flip towards the top leaves you could potentially squeeze a few more tops in. That's just my opinion though either way I'm sure you are going to do what you thinks best and I'm sure it will turn out great I'm actually still holding onto a small piece of my QB micro grow bud. Just a piece of the top bud but it's incredibly dense and smells amazing it's been curing for a good while now.

highest quality bud yet... Especially when it was still its full 3.5 gram self lol. Hopefully no bugs come back this grow and I get my personal best (knock on wood). Needing a good run like you had last grow. You harvested like right on the spot of what I figured you would harvest gram wise which was great for what you had.

Nice little nugglet.. let's call it Leftover .
Yeah, I plan on defoliating during this grow. Last time I did it only as a last resort, when leaves were stacked in 3-4 layers on one another .
Anyway, I shall need to brainstorm on this one a bit. This strain has sativa in it's genes, and I am afraid that if I make it cramped in there, I shall have no escape if she stretches more than I would expect.

Tops everywhere she sure does look happy.. well done
Thanks mate :) she's growing like crazy now! :) will give her a light dose of her first nutes, as I see some pale green leaves here and there. Otherwise shes one hapy gal :)

Looks fantastic Katins
