If you're using iOS (iPhone, iPad): Yes it is required, otherwise you may only use Photone for relative measurements.
If you're using Android (Samsung, Google, ...): No, our Android version does not require a diffuser.
Yes, my assertions are based on iPhone. Thanks, it’s an important distinction obviously.

Hello all 420 and @ViparSpectra XS1500 PRO fans. I'm here with an update on the purple queen which will be at the end of week eight on Sunday and the good news is that the trichomes are starting to turn milky all over the plant.

I think she still has a week to go and she will be ready, what do you think? Thanks everyone for stopping by.

The buds have been even bigger,
should have a great harvest according to the look of it.:lot-o-toke::thumb:

Thanks @Azimuth, luckily there are no reports and thanks for pointing out the SIP🙏 I don't think I will go anymore otherwise the yields are brutal and watering is really convenient. I'm excited about it 😉
Glad you're liking the SIP approach, @Kanno26 . I like to say our motto is "Better plants from better growers." And most become better growers simply by changing to these pots. There really is something magic about the combination of air down low and constant availability of water and nutrients.

Hydro and coco like results but grown in soil. What's not to like?!!

Hello all fans of @ViparSpectra XS1500 PRO, I would like to inform you that even on the Purple Queen in the middle of the ninth week, amber can be seen in places, but it will continue until the tenth week and I think it will be just about done. I have to say that its main branches are brutal and I have never managed to grow anything like that and the fact is that I owe it to the 420 people on this forum. Well, this is what it looks like there.

Now that is a BEAST. Next time you might want to dial the light back just a touch and you’d get far less of the foxtailing. Awesome, huge chunky buds!

Nice work. Gets me excited for my single Viparspectra XS1500 PRO grow. If you give one of those nugs a squeeze how dense is it, rock solid, or a little give?

Looking great!
Thanks @Braddah Waiheesohai , the lights are amazing. The buds are huge and a bit shriveled, but I'm not sure if it's the strain or some mistake on my part.

Hi @Braddah Waiheesohai , how you be? Hope all is well in Paradise. Hey just one unsolicited word - I used the XS1500 Pro in similar fashion last grow for two autos. All the buds were awesomely dense and I completely understand why you ask that question. But you gotta think in terms of exceeding their recommended heights. Get close. Lol! But one of those powers one plant very well, in like a 2x2 or whatever. Could you please tag me if you journal that?

Hey bruv! I just tagged you in that very journal. Yeah I read on one of the led light testing blogs that their recommended height is 8-9 inches @ %100. I'm about 2 inches from most of the canopy right now trying to keep the stretch from outgrowing my tent. Hope you're well!

Hi all @ViparSpectra XS1500 PRO fans and purple queens. We are at the end of the ninth week and I think I will leave her for a few days until she goes down. It looks amazing and monstrous but unfortunately it's not purple at all which makes me a little sad but I don't know what it is? And this is what it looks like.

The purple color could be genetic and the color is usually enhanced by cooler temperatures because P is not absorbed well al lower temps and that deficiency can lead to the coloring.

Some growers deliberately try to introduce that deficiency to get the color but that always seemed odd to me. If we are growing this plant for the bud and that bud is going to be compromised by deficiencies, why one would want to do that on purpose just for a visual effect is lost on me.

Maybe she didn't turn purple Kanno but she's still a Queen! What a lovely plant! :bravo:

I would also like to invite @Jon, @Azimuth, @StoneOtter, @Bill284, @HashFart, @Grand Daddy Black, @Emilya Green to this journal. I will be happy if you go through this diary with me as you have been doing until now. I also noticed that many of you are already growing under ViparSpectra, so we can watch how it grows under @ViparSpectra XS1500 PRO and compare experiences and also how it works. Thanks everyone for stopping by. We have a lot of work to do ;).
I have a KS2500, KS 3000, workin well. SSgrower
