I tried promix and ended up going straight coco. Its so simple to use.I got this stuff from pro mix with coco. It works perfect I find. You don’t NEED to feed it till it’s about dry but you can feed it without overwatering because it has such good airflow. Should likley do a thing about it on my journal I got it by accident when I meant to get pro mix hp instead got pro mix hp cc and decided to give it a go. Awesome stuff.
Ill see how these go over the next day or 2, I'll order omegazyme to add in my current feed watch the ph/ppm. I germ a few more seeds and use little cardboard pots to start them off and just cut them off when I replantI tried promix and ended up going straight coco. Its so simple to use.
Coco and air pots you can grow monsters in couple months.
But you should up pot. Seriously you will be rewarded.
Look at my girls.
"Damping Off" disease was what I thought it might be from the way you described it. Maybe a photo if it happens again and someone can recognize the problem for sure. While there this younge would that be a good idea? I'm pretty sure I just had a dampening off issue but I think that is my own fault. I can't say for certain that this was the issue, im still relatively new. All I do know is I dont want any more falling over lol because of this I think I had been over cautious of the amount of water I was giving them, this run.
I read an article or two that 'Damping Off' and many root rot types of diseases are the same thing. Root rots start in the soil and move up to the stem and sometimes the rot starts just above the soil line and destroys the strength of the stem.Either they just dried out, or you have some sort of root disease going around.
Other than drying out completely, root rot is really about the only thing that makes them fall over. So it’s one of the two, IMO.
Usually root issues are associated with overwatering, which can also be aggravated by cool temps.
Coco is pretty much impossible to overwater but I usually go easy on the seedlings anyway out of habit.

I hope soStill time for them to pop,,u should b ok
Ill see what I can do. I'm considering buying the hygen coco/perlite media rather then using the brick from the hardware store. I flushed/buffed it myself and use smaller pots and replant after the 1st 2 weeks.Wouldn’t hurt to raise the temps a little too. Anywhere between 80 and 85 is nice.
I also have 2 auto pink grapefruit that seem to be doing ok atm. That might be were the confusion is, or I have germ'd 2 packs of kalashnikov just no success. No matter what they drop within the first few days. My ph pen is no longer any good and I live rural areas so it will be a few days before I can get another. I'll just grab a blue lab not sure if I should go the truncheon or metre/pen, I was using the Milwaukee ATC but between cycles it must of been damaged or dry im not 100% sure. I still remember mixing up my res when it still worked fine so I'm going to wing it atoeast 1 tank and try to keep the auto seedlings going until a metre arrivesDon’t know how to calibrate that pen you’ve got, mine is a blue labs but for coco yes ph matters greatly. Remember coco is considered drain to waste hydro so 5.8 to 6.2 is your goalpost.
not sure if you are messing with my head or talking about other seeds but there is a seedling in the pics you posted
That first photo in msg #28 does look like Damping Off hit the plant.Think I might need to try some fresh coco. Been 4-5 days since I planted the 2 Auto and I haven't seen them yet.
