JustMeds' Fruity Chronic Juice, Quadline, Organic, DBHB, KNF, 2019

Stumbled upon the journal and all caught up!
My current DBHBB run I had some trouble in the one gallons. Upcanned to ten 10 gallon cans and they exploded

Welcome @Archiweedies glad to have ya. All our ladies love the big pots for sure. I mentioned to Doc once about doing a 4x4 raised bed in the bottom of my tent he said they would get huge. Would be so cool though.

yes your link worked and I went and checked it out and its very cool I wouldn't be able to do that in my set up I cant get to side doors for access guess ill just have to tough it out in pots lol thanks for posting that lewdeville!:)

I still have not had time to read any of it.. Grrrrr...

Here is tonight's pics. She got a defoliation. I cut two clones from the top arms. They were the over node to the under node we cut off here. Then she got a Trans drench and tea.

The solo cup photo is for @Graytail in the other thread you were saying you had an area with less head room. This gal don't need much. :laughtwo:

What's this journal? You got two of 'em going? :hmmmm:

:)

Nice looking girl!

I'm having trouble getting myself to do a lot of training anymore. Ima jus' trow 'em inta bloom these days. :p

I think it's a phase. I'll have to groom one up nice like that again soon. Pretty plants get more attention from the gardener, after all.

:meditate:

@Asesino85 I feel stupid. I did not notice you were hydro. I lost a lot of hair trying to figure out why yours were growing so fast compared to mine. I think @Mr. Magoo done one in soil I have to check it out again.

I think the 4 nodes on the lower arms closest to the stem will be removed. They just don't seem to be able to keep up. Doing this will leave me with 18 main bud sites. Planning on letting these get a few inches of even vertical growth then flip. What are thoughts on limiting the side branches from each of these to a minimum and just finishing with the 18 main tops?

Yup I grow in coco and coco is hydro. It's got a soil feel but you water every single day which promotes the growth. As long as the coco doesn't get dry you can skip a day of watering here and there but ideally it should never dry out and then it always has water to absorb, kinda like DWC hydro. It's a good inbetween full hydro and soil. There are many who do quadlining in soil as well and have great success but I do think everything in soil takes longer to recover and get larger then in coco/hydro. Sorry for the misunderstanding! I try to be as clear as possible throughout my journal that if you grow in soil things might be a little slower and to not really look at the number of days I am at and compare them. All sorts of other things in the environment might also cause differences in the size and growth rate of the plants. @DobeWan does what I do almost exactly and his plants turn out pretty close to mine.

18 main budsights is a great number to flip at. I think you have the exact right idea in letting them grow a couple inches and then flipping. I don't leave a ton of side branching either but if the sidebranches look sturdy and are getting light I'd leave them. If they aren't then I'd get rid of them. I really don't get rid of a lot of the sidebranches until my post stretch defoliation just to see if they end up better than I think they will but most of the time my gut is correct and I could have gotten rid of them before stretch. It sounds like you have all the right ideas so just stay patient and all will be good in the end.

us soil growers have to be a little more patient than the hydro guys lol my son grows hydro I think he grows in rockwool but not positive he has grown some clones from me and his plants dwarfed mine lol!
