CANNA COCO easy to use | CANNA Gardening USA

"Damage

Damage to crop caused by hard water Normally, PK13/14 and CANNA COCO nutrients can be used together. However, in case the tap water is very hard, this combination can cause problems. Very hard water contains high amounts of calcium and the amount of acid necessary to set the pH is relatively high. This is due to a high bicarbonate level in the water."

Dude If I had the cash I'd be using RO water, full stop lol. Its jsut gonan cost like 200 quid for a RO machine off amazon, and Im not sure I can splash that kind of dolalr anymore, since I needa save to move out.

And even though the tap water has calmag, dont plants under LEDs still need calmag? and if my ph isnt ideal, regardless of the calmag in my tapwater, uptake would be hindered by the higher ph right? Which is why I wanted to check run-off. If the run off had a higher ph than what just went in, that'd suggest the ph was too high. But alas, the ph seemed fine, if not low at around 5.5. haahhhh I wonder whats going on. I really think the symptoms today are a result of just feeding too much. The highest Iwill go from now on is 950.

They are pricey but pay for themselves. I add a mineral filter to my system for clean drinking water.

No man it doesnt work in that way and your going to run into big issues. First if your ph is off and causing lockout adding more nutes will make the lockout worse or cause other deficiencies. If your ph is fine adding too much of something will still cause a lock out. People recomend extra calmag due to using RO and the affect is worse under led. So yes stop calmag your putting too much. You could keep adding more and more but it still wont be uptaken. The plant uses what it wants not what you put in!

You need to do a flush with mild nutrient solution and get all the old salts out get your ph in check if it was out of whack

Trust me man runoff will only confuse you dont check it it will NOT come out the same as what you put in when growing in coco as coco holds and releases k and cal if i recall correctly.

hmmm... what do I do though! lol I dont really have access to better water, besides rain, which is cant gather in good amounts

You guys dont have water dispenseries that dispense clean water by the gallon?

You may need extra cal mag later in the grow but you will notice if you need extra

It doest matter the strength ive always read flushing with plain water can cause issues in coco. Cult and ledrf flush with nutrients when correcting issues. I always put 1/4 strength of max suggested on the bottle, ph and flush. My preharvest flush is the only time i run straight water through my coco and i dont ph. I hope this helps you man goodluck

TOday I fed 1/2 bottle strength already. You think I should still mix up couple litres of 1/4 strength and fed that?

How big are the plants? Can i get a pic of today? Whole plant. Let it dry some, maybe tomorrow if they are smaller plants but you cant really over water in coco. Id wait till tomorrow just to not waste nutes. Coco is very fast correcting make sure to get a nice amount of runoff 15-20%
Today i believe is day 17 above ground.

Here ya go man. Fresh pics taken just now. Day 17 above ground i think. Theres only one plant
