Juicy's Sea Of Green Inn'A SCreeN

looking mit e tas tee!! dual 400$ huh im doing 600$ i figered out it does alot better for me if i use bigger pots done tons of 1&2 gal get small yeilds but if i go bigger pots buds swell much bigger and i love the cooltube or any aircooled hood getting the bulbs close and moving the plants around often, not much you can do about that in a screen, but then a screen seems to not need that anyway,,hmm wonder what would happen if you got new bulbs :thedoubletake::loopy:

Yeah, I hear ya bro;) Bigger pots, bigger lights = bigger buds :)

I like the idea with being able to move around the plants, but even without the screen that be tricky, as the roots has grown through the pots and into the bed of claypebbles.

The peeps there has been following my journals know I've been dreaming about upgrading too dual sixers. And as a matter of fact the courier brought em home yesterday, YAY!!

2 Sonlight digital 600 w ballasts with Agro bulbs. Exciting stuff :)
Next grow will deff be with those two badboys:)

only gonna get better with the 2 600s mate

Yea, its just everyrhing runs so smooth as is. Temps are in check, watering cycle are in check and so on. I am worried I'll have to do some tweaking when I bring in the sixers. The Old magnetic ballast do generate a lot of heat compared to the digital. So I hope it just evens out with the reduced radiant ballast heat and the increased lamp heat.

tell you what i dont notice a big difference with the 400-600 jump now 1k seems huge to me but the diff is 200 watts vs 400watts, if your hoods are air cooled, should be fine andby moving over to digis vs mag that should makup ant difference, the 600s will up the harvest if your just in week 5, are the ballasts adjustable? you could run at 75 percent and get benifits and no real increase in heat, ok im getting at this YOU SHOULD DO IT! you know you WANT TO!

You're absolutely right bro :high-five:
-Do a bear sh!t in the woods

The ballast's is not adjustable, I figured they would be cranked to superlumens all the time anyway, and since I could get a good deal on the ordinary ballast's I just went for it, I would get 1 adjustable for the same price as I gave for the 2 ordinary...

We've been out in the veggie garden all weekend long, so nothing has been done regarding the lights just yet.
Well, better get to it then ;)

UPDATE FROM DAY 37 OF FLOWER, WE'RE AT DAY 39 NOW
-OUT WITH THE OLD IN WITH THE NEW

Changed out the ballast's the other day, YAY

The room is running a' lot hotter, I can feel the heat through the cooltubes a couple of inches from the glass now.
Canopy is at 30 degrees Celsius, and top of room 35 :thedoubletake::thedoubletake:
It has been hot outside tho, but we'll have to do something about this. Would love to run lights on at night time, but the room makes too much noise with everything running as is. If we could lower the noise level of the grow op, we might be able to run at night time? Better look in to this..
But all in all I am happy with the new lights, it's hotter but it's also brighter ;) Also the pictures dont have the black stripes which is nice :)

UPDATE DAY 39 FLOWER

The temps are within optimum the first couple of hours until the room heat up. Then it's about 5 degrees Celsius above :hmmmm::smokin2::hmmmm::smokin2::hmmmm:

Just above canopy 1 hour after lights on

Every "zone" then rises throughout the day, up to 5 degrees Celsius further then the pictures shows, until lights come off again..
