She looks like one of your sativa beasts! No, the NextLight 420h plus one XS 1500 Pro plus one 256 watt Blurple. She had almost 800 watts on her.
Nice job Jon I wish I could trim that good.Scenes from Trim Jail

Whoa. Who’s grow is this anyway?
My guess is that by the time you get done trimming your beasts, you’ll be giving me lessons!Nice job Jon I wish I could trim that good.
@KeithLemon - trimming, like defoliation, is highly personal. Everyone has their own style and preferences. For most of my buds (the ones that go to friends) I prefer the show trim/bag appeal look. For the ones I smoke I could care less. But there are just as many folks who prefer to leave some amount of dried sugar leaves in the buds. Some people feel that by doing this they “seal in” the terps. Then others go somewhere in between. Just depends on your needs and personal preferences. You will discover what you prefer as you have a ton to trim soon. So thanks for the kind words, and who knows? Maybe you’ll find the show trim ain’t worth the extra time it takes. You’ll find out soon enough. My guess is that by the time you get done trimming your beasts, you’ll be giving me lessons!

Thanks, and true enough I will find out. I did very little trimming last year and want to trim some of it nice mostly the stuff I give away and that will be allot of it. I have two sets of scissors for the job and if it gets as sticky as last year, I will need both pairs of scissors. I will be going to school on this harvest providing the plants make it to harvest.@KeithLemon - trimming, like defoliation, is highly personal. Everyone has their own style and preferences. @NickHardy can't zoom in on those pots we'll enough, but he wants to know if you're going to use them right side up?
Isn't there but one way they can go? I have never used an air pot but is there a bottom to them or are they different.@NickHardy can't zoom in on those pots we'll enough, but he wants to know if you're going to use them right side up?
@Absorber - hey man, was it you who made the point to me about deeper colored amber trichs? If so, thanks. That little tidbit made a big difference. I now believe I’ve been taking my buds early this whole time. These buds already taste more mature and more like they should than in the past. And I know the strains well. It’s awesome. My buds looks better and are better.

Ha! I win this one! They’re cheapie knockoffs. Not AirPots, just plain old airpots. They have holes top to bottom. No two rows of solid on these. Doesn’t matter which way you go. Same either way. HEH.@NickHardy can't zoom in on those pots we'll enough, but he wants to know if you're going to use them right side up?
Thanks @Absorber - you get the point though. Here’s a great example from right now of what I was saying. This is a few shots of the Watermelon Wedding Cake trichomes from just now. As you see she’s getting close. But before, I would have thought “time to chop.” And done so. And cost myself size, weight, and density. Now I REALLY get “don’t leave before the miracle happens,” which we used to say to people at Dead shows if it was an average night. Lol. A lot of weight and density happens at the very end.Im aware of it but it must have been someone else as I don't remember having that conversation
The smoke will be better too ,I believe most hobby growers pull too early. Thanks @Absorber - you get the point though. Here’s a great example from right now of what I was saying. @KeithLemon - what Azi said is true - of real AirPots, the actual brand ones. But the cheapies don’t necessarily have the two rows of blocked holes, which are totally unnecessary anyway. One end has closed holes, the other open holes.
Which set to put at the top and which at the bottom is the question.
Just don't ask @NickHardy for the answer as he has no clue.
Nice job Jon I wish I could trim that good.
