I could show you a lot more closely if you popped down here and helped me trim it…..Normal for whom?
That’s just WOW! CLFocus Bud
All these are pictures of the same bud. Starts with the entirety of her, and ends with a display of her stem. When you follow it down to its base, you see that this huge beauty is nothing more than a forgotten offshoot from the main first node branch. Just wowee.
@Azimuth - it’s not even normal for me. I simply got lucky with an accident. They were still going to be large buds, but nothing like this. Lmao!Yeah, still not "normal", but thanks for trying.
Since she’s so close, I have switched her as of this morning to no feed. Just clean water. Not flushing. Just want to see if I can get her to start taking nutes from the leaves a little and how long that might take. Never did this before.86
This is representative of the whole. I may take her tomorrow.
Congrats on the harvest bro.Mimosa
Harvest Has Begun
Flower Day 86
Seems about half the lower ring is ready, so I have begun the harvest. Took 7 lower ring branches. Working on them now. But here’s a before and after of what is (gulp!) literally the smallest branch on the whole plant.
Heh.
I’m going to have to bite the bullet and actually wear rubber gloves for this one. She’s sticky as all get out.Git er done!
Note in the first picture above - this is part of Sombrero Training. Part of the idea is that in this style, once you top the main stem above node four or five, you let the two shoots you get from that just go. You can see how long they are. But what’s relevant is the side branching. Look at all the side branches I cut off these two above the main stem cut. More stem = more buds. This illustrates that perfectly.Ok, two things….
1. Trimming this foxtail-laden beauty SUCKS. Takes forever. Pretty much feel it’s gotta be 90% wet trimmed. Oy vey.
2. Here’s what I left for last. I may let these go another day or two. HEH.
Omg that’s the small one? Nice trim job btw. CLMimosa

Thanks @CaptainLucky ! Are you a fan of wet trimming? I can’t stand it. The only advantage is you get a ton more scissor and finger hash. Check it out: this doesn’t look like much on a business card until you consider that this is finger/scissor hash from the trim of one plant minus a bunch I smoked yesterday.Omg that’s the small one? Nice trim job btw. CL
