It’s not switching the water over that cause’s the ph to drift. As your plant’s uptake nutrition or water is when your ph changes. A ppm meter or tds meter will tell you if they are eating or drinking. When the ladies get big is when we run into imbalances with the small reservoir. My only advice is run a bigger reservoir then the peaks and valleys aren’t such a issue. That’s a good question, @Coloradocoolaid, and thank you. I honestly don’t know yet. I’ve never done anything like this. The idea in part was to make it super easy. You seem to be of the mind that simply switching out the water every however many days will cause ph drift issues, which as far as I can see is the lone issue with the setup. I also see that issue potentially, and likely many watching are thinking the same thing. And it’s a big one. Got any ideas to share?
It sucks. They take three weeks for me. But they always show and they have cool stickers. lolWell now I think I need some Double XL Red Banana Berry Auto seeds… Thank for steering me in the right direction. I wonder how shipping is to the USA?
Thanks so much and I appreciate it. I have to ponder. It’s not switching the water over that cause’s the ph to drift. As your plant’s uptake nutrition or water is when your ph changes. Yes and if you get a 5 pack they give you +2. Are you in the USA? If so what payment method did you use?Awesome setup Jon! With my 2L perlite hempies pH was never an issue, I'd simply water to the hole when they were empty. Plants never showed any issues, but they were only 2 oz clones. I don't know if that helps you or not. In flower they needed a refill every day.
Hey Vegan! I got those, and am very anxious to grow one. Another cool thing was Jon & I both got 4 packs of each. 3+1
