Jolly Rancher Sativa - A Rookie Adventure Indoors

The Jolly rancher Sativa is growing super fast since topping, and the one that I'm leaning and pinning down (it tipped over during transplant, so I figured, sure, why not!) is bushing out well.

Really excited for things to come. Thanks for watching!

Cheers!

6 gorilla glue sisters showed up in tent 2 today. Deff an indica as far as lead structure goes. Will be topping and lst-ing some of these girls for sure.

All GG were transplanted into Canna coco, and into 3 gallon pots. Using All canna nutes, including rhizotonic. Things should take off pretty quick now I think.

One sidenote...all 6 GG have done some serious wilting since transplant. The were watered pretty well so I don't think that's it. When I opened that tent this morning it was 57 degrees inside. Anyone know if that could cause the wilting?

Thanks for any input all.

Great things are happening inside the tent!

The droop appears to be going away, and the newest growth look pretty good. It's crazy to me to see the difference between these two strains. The Jolly Rancher Sativa is so short and chubby, thick as heck and growing like mad! The Gorilla Glue Indica is totally different in thickness and fullness.

I have the night temp issue resolved, it was around 10 degrees a couple nights in a row, so I turned the heat up a little, and increased the fan speed controller to move more air inside the tent too.

Anyone that has any advice of any kind is welcome here. Like the title says, rookie adventure:))! Happy growing all!!

They are looking good. The wilting may have been just a little shock from transplanting and the temp drop. Just be sure and let the pots get dry and light in weight before you water again. By the time the need watering again I think they will be ready for some veg food (N). What nutrients do you have?

You can try topping some plants and LST on others to see which will suit your style/liking. Keep up the good work.

Boy the Jolly Ranchers are sooooo bushy. The 2 I topped are amazing and thick and deeeep green. The fan leaves have almost been surpassed by the outreaching lower branches. These suckers are gonna be something else.

Growing like weeds! Are you feeding every watering or every other watering? The plant in the top pic looks a little nitrogen rich. Watch for the leaf tips turning yellow and back off the nutes when you see it. It can also cause the dark green leaves twisting up like that. These plants are very thrifty and don't need much food. They will tell you when they are hungry. You will eventually learn to read your plants and know exactly what and when to hit them with the food.

Looking great so far! :thumb:

Good looking out, thanks for the advice!! I gave nutes at 21 days and again at 28. H20 only 24 and today.

The one with the twisted leaves has always had that look since I got her in the solo cup. Do you think it's genetic, or that their previous owner did something?

they were sad and way stretched out when I got them, and as soon as the next set came out, it seemed to show that twist.

We are about 5 weeks, I know the sex will show it's self soon, these pictures do a little better justice of what's going on deep inside. No pistils yet, but some of the nodes are swollen and looking ready to shoot them out!

So here is today's update...these things are growing sooo fast I'm starting to get worried I won't have the room. All the talk I hear about "the stretch" makes me think these ladies, which are bigger that a men's size basket ball. I topped them at the 5th node, and every node but the lowest has hearty branches. Gonna clone those with my new oxycloner I got off CL for $20.

Guys, are these things gonna get too out of hand if I don't start flower asap? Check these out.

Please advise all!!

Well shoot, apparently I pushed it too hard, and I split the main stalk this afternoon. I immediately wrapped it up and remated the 2. We'll see how bad I messed it up:(

Oh no!!! But don't worry! I've been reading lots of journals here and it seems to happen to a lot of people. They simply wrap it well for a few days and it seems to heal back stronger than ever.
