Joe's Grows

I'll know it's strong when I can't get through a single skin joint, two puffs is enough and I'm dribbling
LOL

For me it's more about the experience !

My Black Indica is only rated @15% but movies are funnier, food is tastier and it has some pain benefit.

I like to be able to walk, talk, operate the compfuser, cook supper etc. ;)

Now if I do want to spend some time on the couch listening to music, etc. I go to Early Miss or White Widow :bongrip:

I'm hoping my soon to be ready Lambs Bread, Durban Poison, Double Chocolate or Green Crack is worthy of Tubular Bells :yahoo:

Cheers

Wow that's some nice strains you mentioned there, it sure would be nice to have something different once in a while. I've tried white widow and I liked that one.
I get what you mean by "the experience". I've had some nice ones that are quite mild, but still a good buzz.

It's funny how in countries where it is legal and can be tested, that folks can have a strain that is only, say 12%, but claim it knocks them off their feet so it seems to me that there is definitely more than just the THC numbers at play here.
I read of a study done a few years ago, I think of 300 Canadian strains where they averaged only about 14%, I am sure the same seed bank advertised numbers would average higher! haha. But good to find those strains that are on the next level.

Nurture or nature... genetics, climate, terpenes (entourage effect) etc. I imagine it all makes a difference to the final product.

Heeee brew

You really are a brilliant grower!

Hope you’re living your best life, coz you deserve nothing less.

Churrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr…. Xo
Aw, thanks for the vote of confidence Trala.
I'm happy enough at the moment but it's definitely going to get better in the near future.

So I made up a mix of fish hydrolysate (fish juice) 10ml per ltr, and was watering the outdoor girls, when I noticed what looks like black sooty mold. I mixed up 1ltr water, a splash of h2o2, and some Neem oil, and foliar sprayed them with it. The Neem oil for insect repellent, and the hydrogen peroxide apparently kills sooty mold, I hope it works.

Little Swiss has the sooty mold, but she perked back up after her beat-down, the clone from Big Swiss has the sooty mold too, besides that she looks healthy.
The little clone doesn't seem to have it but I sprayed her anyway.

It's good you caught it early. Do you think the grow environment is quite humid, I would have thought that being outside that there would be sufficient air movement to avoid that but I guess not. Could the containers be elevated a bit?
Indoor ladies are looking good.

Yeah the humidity is all over the place at the moment, 13° one day, 30° the next, weather is crazy. They get plenty of air flow where they are, maybe not as much as it could be, but I can't really put them anywhere else or raise them up because of the orchard next door and the road next to me that leads to the river.
Have to be a bit stealthy or I could get ripped off by people stumbling across it, or even worse, the popo :thedoubletake:

I was thinking about this, and I think nurture plays a huge role. Just look at my Wookie and yours. Yours is heaps more impressive than mine. I’m growing my second WF2 and it looks just like my first one.

Here's a pic of my frosty Wookiee. She's 50cm (20in) wide and 75cm (29in) tall. Her top bud is about 4in long and really solid, she's not huge, but she's pretty and she smells good. She's not going to produce a lot, but I prefer quality over quantity anyway.

A little bit off topic,
I'm going to be a grandaddy any time now, my son's girlfriend has gone into labour. :woohoo:

We were talking about names for girls and the only obvious answer is...
Mary Jane of course :cheesygrinsmiley:

Have a great day everyone:ganjamon:

Got it growing on , girls look great and congrats grandpa .

Big Swiss got a big feed today.
I top dressed with 2 tbsp of frass, 1/2 cup of kelp meal, 1 cup 4-4-4, and 2 cups 2-8-4. I'm adding more 2-8-4 in anticipation of flipping her to 12/12 in the near future. As soon as Lucky is done she gets flipped. I worked it into the top couple inches of soil, and watered it in with 5ltrs yucca, silica and organic acids.

Ps, brand new beby Stella. :dreamy::kiss:

Hope I don't get in trouble for off topic pic...:cheesygrinsmiley:
