Joe's Grows

I love plants. All plants. I always have.

I actually went into a shop yesterday just to tell the shop owner that her small plants in pots at the entrance of her shop needed water. Not even joking lol.
Ya know @Trala there are these professionals called therapists, I have three. lol

Seriously, feel blue when I see plants being neglected at big box stores and/or greenhouses.

Omg me too!

I have taken dying house plants from friends “you don’t deserve this plant you plant abuser!”

Happy plants; happy life :)

The Swiss skunk girls are doing well.
Still waiting for the Wookiee auto to emerge.

I know right?
I keep thinking I should have soaked it before I planted it.
I didn’t soak mine. And she struck,

Tho the seeds carcass sent me. My worst seed strike rate yet! One from four seeds!

Well I've got my fingers crossed that she shows up sooner rather than later. I really want to grow an auto.
At least I have 2 more waiting in the wings if this one doesn't crack.

Exactly.

Omg I find starting seeds and late flower the WORST part of growing!
Same here, they're both really stressful times.
The seeds are so delicate (and expensive), and by the time you get to flower you've spent months of your life tending to your baby, so all that time is wasted if they don't do well. They really are like children, giving you more grey hairs no matter how old they are, or what they're doing, or who they're with, or where they live. No wonder old people are bald...

Omg did you see I hermed that Wedding Cake?!
Yeah, they don't do very well under strobe lights do they?
You'll still get good buds off her anyway and your other girls are looking spectacular.

Omg what a fuckhead!

I was so mad at me. And it totally explains why Greg didn’t go into flower. She’s all “wtf is going on? Am I vegging or flowering here?!” Cleo just short circuited lollll

Yeah thankfully it seems like it was only the fluffy stuff that was effected.

Oh well, it's a good lesson to learn. If we're not learning, we're not living, right?
At least you caught it before it did major damage you couldn't come back from.

The Swiss skunk in the small pot is looking a little bit deformed, but I think she'll come round eventually. She's definitely slower than the other one in the big pot for some reason. She did have a rough start, so there's that I suppose.

So it's been almost 2 weeks since I planted the Wookiee auto and she still hasn't shown up yet. I decided to start another one in case she doesn't.
This time I'm going to soak the seed in water with a dash of hydrogen peroxide till it cracks open. Once again you can see the oxygen bubbles on the seed from the H2O2.
I filled the new pot with fresh soil and soaked it with water mixed with yucca extract, ready for the new seed.
She'll go into the new pot once she opens, and she'll stay there for the duration of the grow.
Let's hope I have better luck with this one...
