Jinn's Coco Hempy Harem 2014

Day: 68
Flowering day: 33 (30 of actual flower)
NLxBB auto & CSSH clone day: 28
Jack la mota day: 14

Malawi Gold just kept getting worse, so I canned it. Its a shame because I was really looking forward to getting a chance to try her out.
Fed the girls yesterday, upped them from 8/12ml to 9/16ml got ever so slight tip burn but they seemed to like it very much.
I've got NLxBB auto and jack la mota on 6/9ml still.
Other than that... Pictures!!!!!!! (oh and under 30 days until Pineapple Chunk's breeder time)

Im going to be 100% honest with you, its something my grandmother used in her rose gardens, so I didn't think twice about adding the azomite to my coco/perlite hempy buckets.
There is seriously nothing out there on its uses in soil-less mediums but I will say this, since Ive been using it I haven't had any deficiencies. And more importantly it hasn't shown any ill effects since I've used it.
It would appear it does work in hempy ( i cant scientifically verify this claim as of yet, I will require testing two clones from the same mother) as I'm using the cheapest nutes I can and not running much in the way of additives.
I mean the Lucas/h3ad formulas and some cal/mag and silica are hardly a reason for my girls to be this happy, especially since coco and perlite don't bring much to the table nutrient wise on their lonesome.

I wish I could give you a concrete answer Too Old, but that'll have to wait until this summer when I move and have 'lab' space hehe.
That answer was good enough for me Jinn. Because of the fact that all your girls are amazingly healthy I just ordered a 5lb bag of Azomite myself. I also blogged your Dry Ice Hash method. I don't think even I can mess that up. How's the New Year treating you so far?
Good day Jinn. Our 5lb bag arrived yesterday. There's no directions about applications on the bag & I figured since you & your grandmother both have used this product I'd ask you before visiting they're website.
I'm thinking of using it in soil & also in a 2lt SIP with 1/3 each of peat moss, Vermiculite, & Perlite. How do you suggest applying it to the two different mediums?

Thanks brother, sorry for not keeping everyone updated, but my internet was out, and my phone broke so I couldn't use it as a hotspot for the laptop. I'm back up and running now so thats good.
Looking good and filling in nicely. :thumb:
Thank you kindly, your garden is quite lovely too brother!
Hi ya Jinn, looks like all is good in your green world, great pics, great grow.
I'm slowly learning how to use the Wifes ipod to take pictures, one day I might buy a real camera to take them.
Hope you and dirty are having a lovely day!

with soils you can go ahead and just mix a cup of it in and let the dirt do the work, with hempy(coco/perlite) what I do, is take a half cup per gallon and mix it in with their feed. I've done it once in veg, once at the start of flower, and I'm thinking I might add one last azomite feeding.
with the 2l and smaller containers (under 3.5gal) I would reduce the amount of azomite wasted. so with 2l, 1/8 to 1/4 cup depending on your medium. I'd go with higher amounts in hempy/coco/perlite (the 1/4cup) and lower on good soil.
My grandmother used a full cup on each of her garden beds once a season.

Sorry for the slow reply, as I told green dreams, my internet has been out!

had a fun day, the landlord stopped in unannounced, saw my grow tent, threw a fit.
She's going to try to do something slimy I'm sure, but luckily every aspect of my grow is legal, and follows fire code.
I live in a non rent controlled area, so once I move out she can charge the next renter even more than I'm being charged.
It's a big thing here in cali, landlords will try to get people to move out via threats just to keep their deposits and whatnot, but if you're smarter than the average bear it is easily avoided what with law on your side and all =p

Hope you and your garden are doing excellent dirty!

Welcome back and thanxx for the Azomite advice.

thank you, and you know I'm always happy to help my friend!
That sucks about your landlord.....hopefully you are wrong and she leaves you alone:)
I hope so too! If not, well, I've done all the research I need to on local laws, state laws, and tenant rights.
I've survived failed 'chutes, roadside bombs, 107mm rockets, my wife, and growing up as the only male in an all female household, I'll survive this too.
