yep...T virus...dam...now thats a big cola...you going to enter it in the contest.right...i got a pheno going got ft+ long colas..and 2 months to go...i lost track of the clones..so i don;t know whether its a purple haze or pineapple express...she had s nametag but when checking,,,i found out the b-date was wrong...so i figgued the name was wrong too....she had a PH nt...but she looks like a PE.

Well I dont think itll be ready by next month. its still got a good month before i pull it lol.

I got a few real poopers of chemdawg thatll finish in about a week or two.


Tonight im going to foliar feed everything with some big bud and some tea. I have battled potash deficiency (mostly on the purple kushes) for a long time now. It seems to get worse when I water and dont feed. So I am thinking I need to feed more stronger doses. In 2 days I will be root feeding but later tonight I am gonna do a foliar to stop this bullshit cold! At least the buds dont seem to suffer as they all keep growing well. But I hate seeing fan leaves get all brown n dead on the edges...

But ya we should have a purple pineapple, purple kush, purple hash, purple pebbles and grand daddy purple party later.

Iono DP every time i go out i seem to find a new bug fucking with my plants, or a new deficiency sprouting up. I could do better :/

Oh so good news, the deep sleeps (which i rarely show because i hate them and they are small and have droopy 1 blade leaves) have started to bud hard (surprisingly). I figured they would just end up a waste of 4 plants, but they are starting to finally form some real sized buds and to top it off they are mega frosty buds.

Gonna need to trich check paula she may be getting close just judging by the size of her buds. However all hairs are white or pink still so maybe shes got awhile and will get mega fat buds. Ill check the trichs out on her soon.

i guess this is one of the downsides with outdoor grows, you just never know what bugs your going to get, would be perfect if their was some kind of very fine net you could use over them, as long as it did not block the light at all and the mesh was small enough to stop critters getting in then it would work well with most books but spider mates and crap like that would still get through due to their size.

isnt their anything you can grow in the ground next to the plants, im sure i read somewhere that certain plants stop some bugs as they dont like the smell or taste or something like that, i know its no help to you at the minute but might be something you could do with future grows, ill try and find the info,

do you know what kind of bugs your dealing with ill see what i can find out, its ok using sprays but outdoors the buds will just keep coming back,
im sure with all the advances in growing that its only a matter of time before we can water our plants with something and it repels bugs or stops them when they try eating or nesting in it, surely their must be something that can be added to water when the plants are watered, fair enough it might need a flush before harvest or just stop using the product before harvest but if something like that could be produced then im sure that person would become rich very quick,

i would of loved to of studied botany or what ever its called, but when your at school the last thing you want to do is study plants people would think your was a bit strange, but if i knew i was going to be growing plants then id off studied hard and may of then been able to come up with some products of my own, i might even see if i can find a college course and see if i can study plants and nutrients,

the main thing i need to figure out is whats stopping plants turning purple,
when i was out having a meal with my kids the other day, i went outside for a smoke and their was this big green bush, well all the leaves on the top of the bush had turned purple but the leaves below where still green, i checked the leaves for signs of bugs and the texture and they looked and felt the same as the green leaves yet they was all purple, it was strange that just the top layer of leaves covering the whole bush had turned purple yet everything else below and down the sides was purple, so again that cant be due to temps as it was while we had that heat wave, so clearly its genetics, but if it was just dont to geneticss then surely i would of had a purple plant by now, that purple widow is a pure purple strain but not 1 bit of purple on any of the buds,

im pretty sure it has something to do with nutrients, we know that N helps with leaf and stem growth so their must be something that keeps the plant green instead of it naturally turning purple, im sure ill find out one day, but ive grown to many purple strains and got no purple at all so something must be going on thats stopping me getting the colours i want,

then i go and look at subcools super soil and he gets plants that are not known for purple colour yet they still produce purple buds,

we all know that all mj strains have the purple gene and most will turn purple with the cooler temps, but the purple strains should turn purple without the cold temps so i need to find out what is causing the lack of purple,

we have just got a new sponsor who has put up prizes for the contests, he has some great looking nutrient products,

bag 1 is seedling and clones
bag2 is veg stage
bag 3 is flower
no mixing nutrients or anything, just use the bag for each stage of growth and it gives the plants exactly what they need, it soulds like a great product and would stop growers making mistakes by mixing up the wrong nutrients, so might give that a try as it may help with the purple plants im trying to grow, im about out of ---, ive got plenty of micro left and bloom booster, ive hardly used them to as its used in small amounts but im pretty much out of bloom and grow, by the time i get to harvest ill be out of both so will need something else,
the contest have nutrients as prizes so if i was lucky enough to win then the nutrients would come at the perfect time,

Well I got a good update finally.

The foliar seems to have worked nicely, all plants seem happy and on certain plants monster growth in past 12 hours has seemed to have happen. Big Momma in particular grew out like 10 of her lower branches many inches, I ended up needing to tie them to stuff. She is now right about 6 feet tall 5 feet wide and 7 feet long. As long as her buds fill out huge (like this strain tends to do), I could go over 2p mark... lets hope as last year my biggest was like 5 oz on a plant lol...

So what used to be the small runt of all my Purple Kush females is now becoming the monster. Not really in size mind you as its still one of the small in pure size. Standing at about 4 maybe 4.5 feet tall and a solid3.5 feet all around, the reason its a monster is because it is quickly just becoming one solid nug!!! There are no gaps between internodes. The buds just cover the entire stems top to bottom and for being only 3 weeks or 2 into flower they are pretty large. When all is said and done maybe itll just be a solid 4 foot around nug ROFL

Paula is nowhere near done, which is good means shell fatten up even more. still found a decent bit of clear trichs on her. Also found some ambers, but I guess thats the real problem with revegers, you got a few old ambers and they kinda confuse ya cause ya dont know if the plant is going amber or if its just 3 month old trichs and shit. I think its old trichs and that she still has a good 3 weeks or so.

With these purple kush, and the strain i accidently created when a budies purple kush blew up on a fruity pebbles, which i am now calling purple pebbles, its just in their traits. The purple pistol pods (aka nugs) are happening with temps of 70-100 degrees lol... They are now beginning to frost up nice but its only week 3 or so for them so they got awhile. I also imagine my single GDP plant will have its nugs go purple once they form bigger.

A lotta times nowdays when you see purple nugs its kinda a bad thing as it probably means plants arnt grown well and were too cold. But real purps with that grapey danky sorta smell and taste are pretty fun.

dam...6x5x7..you ain't growing a bush..thats a triangle...you can make her look like a step...Paula with her big A..thats ok...i still got one in the ground...i'm experimenting with her...see how far i can spred her..might be able to do one plant...that purple haze..outside..is 2+ maybe 3......we.ll see ..and that PE in the pot...shes going to have some 1.5oz foot-longs...nothing to compare with them donkey dicks thats being grown...anyway...my 1st ft-longs...and PEs will be my 1st harvest...and if it storms,,,shes got shelter priority..
