Who might have the Chem d in seed?? Whatever the genetics is of HSO Chemdawg it's A+The HSO Chem is believed to be a #4....not D. #4 is most like orig. 91.
South Fork's primary stud male is its Chem D bx3. CSI's Pirates line has Chem D f1 using PCK male. Top Dawg's Tres Dawg & Double Dawg strains are D lines. OBsoul33t uses D in his Aliendog strains. You can be confident that all of these genetics are the real deal. Can't say that about many others.
Chem is one of the legends plants' folklore is about least I think.Like G-13. I mean i can understand one getting a strain from a friend that rocks your socks and he gives a name, another grower grows it,,, he damn near renames it calling it his own. And times that by 10, and never know what you truly have... I love names,,, and stories behind a name. Then there are a 100 different phenos of the same. But it really comes down to the plant itself. Bad, Good, or Better Weed........ I know there are good gentics in 90% of the strains out there. Even the smallest breeder,,, least I wood HOPE, is doing afew hundred plants of a strain and being able to shop better than I ever could want. I do know alot of 'fly by nite' breeders been around making bank of strain names. But even then, I have to figgure any of these peoples should be able to do a better job then me pheno shopping. I'm thinking of trying one of the Chem's, next seed order??? I guess I need to red abit. And pay attension to the names little better than just a Greatful Dead Concert.. I might even have smoked some of it myself in the past.... I do like HSO seeds. did great well with a random Black Dog seed. and one of 4 of the Blue Dreams I did was top shelf, the other 3 were mid-range at best. You know that is one of the best things about 420,,, being able to ask others how they rate their strain. Especialy someone you've watched grow some great weeds for afew years,, or even seasons. So i'm way open to suggestions........

Conflicting info from the breeder too... there's a lot of versions. Somewhere on HSO website it says they used the Chemdawg 91 cut and where the purple pheno comes from then they do a little story about where the current version comes from, and they call it Chemdawg #4... but if you read the story it's clear as mud.
Everyone has the original... meh. It's a unique plant and you know its different from the smell... even in VEG and the smells change during the day and after lights out. Its very unique from a grower view. I've never smelled anything like it and I've grown a bunch of its off spring.
Woody you should try it.. not a big yielder but its strong A/F ... you'll like it. Every time I grow it the gas company comes sniffing around for a gas leak, and I for sure have filters.
I have a few Chem's going right now from cuts... smallest plant in the flower room by a good margin! Oh well... she makes up for size with that loud smell and big fire.
It's always the first of my stash to get puffed up.....
I just got a pack of Triple Chem Face from Mycotek... supposed to be Dosidos x 3 Chems - not a lot of info out there on 3 Chems.... now not sure why I got them. The Freebees I got were all duds....
Thought I forgot how to sprout seeds there for a bit until I popped some AUTO seed freebees and go 10 of 10. Go figure....

HSO Chemdawg is listed as "stems from the original line....the result of the original 91 elite clone". Good cryptic marketing language. Playing safe by using "dawg" vs orig. preferred usage of "dog" by Chemdog. Haven't tried it but sure HSO's is good....several of you who would be good judges all give it high marks.
Mycotek is somehow connected or close to Top Dawg. 3 Chems is a Top Dawg strain.....Stardawg x ONYCD. With Dosido should be really good. Hurry up & grow it bob.

Sounds like it's win win if it's smokes well. Some great plants and strains, an interesting mix as usual.

KK starting to look real nice. I loved the plant... Small,,,, solid ass buds. Scale 1-10,,, I'd give her 8.5. Remember I've never seen a 10. And never will... Might have seen a handfull of 9.5's. So I enjoyed what I had. Grew it three go-arounds.... Is that Super Lemon Haze from Greenhouse? If so, that was another of my favorites. In my top 10-15 strains in life so far...... Finicky eater for sure...

Thanks NCW and Ween! The Lemon Haze is from Royal Queen Seeds and I've grown about 6 of them and they all have been fire . They all look kinda similar but they have totally different terps!!
