JCTJ's Black Sugar Journey: A Canadian Comparative

Now it really starts to get exciting, so glad I found your journal!
We have lift off! :bravo:
Bravo . The eagles have left the nest. I repeat the eagles have left the nest :) looking good. :) Magic

Thanks for the love!

Close to 24 hours above ground and they look to be settling in. They're hanging out in a dome at the bottom of the tent with a comfortable lux measurement.

They look happy JCTJ and nice and green. My Bs are at the same stage as yours so we all have plants that are the same size which is great for the comparative.

Absolutely, looking forward to following all the action in the coming weeks!

Im interested to see @bluenoserjoe eat his corn after hes done using it as a grow medium.

Hey folks,

Today marks 5 full days above ground for these two. They're now receiving 1g/gal of MC with plain old tap water.

In between DIY house projects and shoveling snow 3 times I manged to get a 6 hour smoked salmon session in. The salmon was in a salt/brown sugar brine overnight, patted dry and set on racks to form a pellicle early this morning and into the smoker for the day low and slow. Multiple bastings of good ole Canadian maple syrup and we have a couple racks of tasty treats.

Oh man....pic of the month!

Glad you guys liked the salmon, we sure did!. If the winds keep down this coming weekend I might brush the snow off the Kamado for a bone in pork shoulder cook early Saturday morning. Hmmm...

For a second I forgot this was a grow journal LOL.

Black Sugar 1 and 2 on day 8 today. Plain water and 1.5g/gallon MC. Today I carefully tipped the cups upside down and checked the root growth/moisture throughout the medium. Things are looking great and roots spreading all throughout the cups. RH in the tent was a little low the last couple days with lower temps but should be a little better throughout the week. Great for the Zkittlez as they are finishing though! :)
