They are looking great @Plutopirate :bravo: LST or a scrog will do them great, I’d do it now so you can open her up for more light penetration during stretch. :yummy:

She's going to explode from here onwards :ganjamon:nice job on opening her up

Canadian.. Pluto.. Irie.. Penny.. All!!

Do you guys use peat pellets for seedlings?

I ripped open a plant today to investigate. The main tap root was thick until the second it hit that mesh netting from the peat pellet... All roots out of pellet were very very tiny. Maybe this mesh netting was preventing growth? But I also assume people use these successfully! I read directions carefully.. the mesh is to be left on the peat pellet even when using.

I used them but used an exacti knife to slit sides

Hey Jay, that's a big no no for me and I too have gone through that just like you! I was so pissed at myself when i uncovered it the first time i planted a clone with the jiffy pad still intact. :nervous-guy:
I use jiffy pads with all of my clones, and cut or tear it open when transplanting. :ganjamon:
So yes it definitely slowed down your growth, but you'll never make the same mistake again that's for sure!

Read over Jiffy Pellet instructions... Says mesh is bio-degradable.. Cut open, and peel back top of pellet. Only top.

Bad instructions I'd say. Wasted months of my time and much of my money. Ah well. Look at thickness of main stem, then how tinnnny the roots are coming out of Jiffy Pellet.

NO roots what so ever made it out the bottom either ... All made their way to the sides. Looks like they had trouble poking out to me.

Yeah Jay it seems that was causing the yellowing on your plant. Did you cut the jiffy off and replant your plant?

Hi all, been a while.

I tried cutting out the mesh for a while... it was very tricky! I got frustrated, threw all my plants in the dumpster, and headed to the dispensary!

I ordered Gelato OG and California Orange from Seedsman. They threw in some Cheese seeds as well. Hopefully I've learned all the major mistakes I need to... Thanks for reading and any replies!!!
