Happy Tokerday :thumb:

Thanks Cronic, she is definitely getting better I needed a grow that was not going to have any problems but I suppose that it,s all a learning curve:thanks:

MAN IT CAN BE A NON STOP THING SOMETHING HAS BEEN EATING BERTHA BUT SHE WONT SAY WHAT ??
2013-09-17_10_17_09.jpg

I am sure that this is not the work of a spider mite, but I have been all over her with a glass and,,,,I dont see any mites or any moving critter,s so any one got an idea what this could be:grinjoint:

Good day jaga my friend. If you cant find the culprit maybe it can either fly or hide in your soil. Just a guess though, looks like you had the hungry caterpillar come to stay.

Yep I was thinking caterpillar, but I’m not sure the way the leaf has been eaten it just seems to clean on the cut,s but the caterpillar is my biggest suspect I will have to borrow the Mrs glasses an take a good long look, any how great to hear from you light addict thanks for dropping by:grinjoint:

I just realized tomorrow will be week 6, but to me she looks like she has a lot further than week10,,,if this is the case then I have really screwed up
I guess whatever it will have been a great bit of experience:grinjoint:
Heck I so much hope that I am wrong:straightface:

High 420 Folk,s good weedsday to all of you :thumb:Today is Bertha bud,s 6th birthday last night I was worrying bout a change in the way the leaves looked, then my Mrs said maybe it is the light, of course I did the usual know it all stuff, like no way is it the light they aren’t burnt they dont look like they are even starting to look even slightly burnt. Which was when I decided to listen to her and then :hmmmm: well I think she was right when I took the second look I realized that all her leaves where pointing down:adore:So SORRY Padmavati :reading420magazine:I read in someones journal that when the leaves look like they are pointing down and acting different like they were meant that the light was too close? I hope some one could well shed some light on this for me(please excuse the pun) also could this be the reason why she seem,s to be so far behind :lot-o-toke: because she is an auto there is no time window, what I mean is it all has to go good from start to Finnish cause they do there thing automatically so if I learnt anything with these auto,s it,s best to go through with no light prob,s or feed or nute prob,s an of course PH 6.6 seems to be all good so its her birthday an its like that if any one has some thing to add please do not hesitate thanks for listening:grinjoint:

:green_heart:Bertha just got a birthday present I have her presie lading as I type :thumb::happybday: It,s loaded and ready to show along with some photos of the leaves now getting better, First is her Birthday present Bug killer and repellent, came highly recomended

Any one as I always say please I really need :helpsmilie:I think that I should change my name to PLEASE HELP

I believe the slight down-turned leaves is actually too much N. I have battled the exact same problem. That look can also be from overwatering, but I think that is hard to do in coco. If you see yellowing tips that slowly turn brown, then it is likely too much N. I also had mites early in the grow and used an insecticidal soap. I did a poor job of washing it off (maybe this clogged the stomata), and I believe that made the leaves curl up because of the residue. I was likely overwatering, poor application of soap, and too much N. I hope this helps :) You are more than welcome to check out my journal to compare pics and see what you think. I got some good advice in there. Green thoughts for you and your girls Jaga.

Thanks Rainstacks
It does help lot,s both things would make sense I am going to give her a shower tomorrow, another thing that is very worrying is her Pistols are browning off an they seem tiny to me I no she has a minimum of 3~4 week,s
By any chance do you have any ideas on that? Cause right now this is my biggest worry Im thinking it might be somthing to do with the spraying with soapy water for a couple or more days:smokin2:I have got to get thing,s back on track :grinjoint:

Hi Jaga, Just make sure you got your PH at a good lvl and feed your plant on schedule, and they should bounce back. The mites/caterpillars are probably the main probs right now. Get rid of the bugs and the rest should take care of itself.
I believe the mighty wash you spray undiluted every three days for at least 3 applications to ensure all bugs and eggs are dead and gone.
Good luck my friend and its good to see you on the site more often again. Your feeling a little better I take it. ;)

You are most welcome Jaga. I am glad that I was able to help. I keep screwing up, so I am learning what not to do. I guess that is why experience is the greatest teacher. I once again overferted my plants. I am in about the same stage of flower as you too. I have also seen some dried pistils. To answer your question, I would say it can be strain dependent, and also the pistils that come out on the stems, the 'pre-flowers' tend to dry normally. They tend to dry out first, since they are the oldest. Think of it this way, it is a flower, if it gets too hot or dry, it will die back. I personally would not worry about it unless brand new pistils are dying off quickly. Overall your plants are looking very good, petioles facing up, leaves laying flat. Just keep things steady and they should keep putting on weight. If the mites give you any more problems try predator mites if you can get them.
:high-five:

Thanks stealth I have actually given her a wash with tap water I do a 6.6ph even when giving her wash, I stopped after one mighty wash spray I think 2 days ago. With the soapy water an one spray from that I thought that I should wash her down a bit, do you think I should give her another mighty wash spraying?
I am happy to say she was certainly looking happier after a little feed.
And thanks for asking I am a little better I think that my insides need a proper cleanse, an then I am going to have to try an watch my diet a lot closer,
have a great get fried~to~day day:smokin2:

Thanks Rainstacks
your right about experience being the greatest teacher thats for sure, with the pistol,s loads have gone brown now,,,,BUT it seems there are knew ones coming through so there,s hope, she is definitely looking a lot happier
Thanks Buddy:grinjoint:
