Jaga: My First Grow Journal

Ok the sister seed was grown in bigger pot I was using as a self watering type thingy well I decide to fill the bottom with soil in the end ,, any how she has very healthy leaf and a strong looking stem but for a long while I was so sure she was a he ,, single branc not bushy an any how she is a she but noting like her sister and after weeks she hasnt really any thing other than a few pistils ??

The plant mutation was ment to have been a topping for her but turned out more of a FIM ,, should have wom me specs:reading420magazine:Any ideas please I dont want to put her out of the tent But I would appreciate your input ,, the space is valuble but ,,,

To me,, I think you might be investing your time and space on a plant that isn't going to yield much.. Unless she has a massive main cola.. Myself.. If I had another bushier replacement plant,, I'd think of culling her. But if you don't have a replacement,, she isn't hurting alot. GL and Keepem Green

Yea I guess I find it real togh with any plant I start to rip out ,, but I cut her last night after noticing Balls ,, i had left her out the tent for a few days Just not being able to kill it :hmmmm:kind of nuts really but when I saw them balls I cut straight away ,,

Amazing I look back and think ouch I had a run of cockups after switching from the HPS to a 300w CFL things could be better a lot better I hope any how im gonna grow more of the Yog pots with the hope of finding the green garden harvest I would really love to coin what i could call a worthwhile crop :thumb:

Fast question? How tall is your tent? I think they all are pretty standard. Just a thought, try topping your next veg plant real young, to get a shorter wider plant. I like to let the first single leaf come out, it's gereneraly followed by a three leaf set, then I top. Or the next if a good spot to top doesn't present itself., but no later. Let two more leaf sets come out after the topping, and top again. Then I'm done. Well this is just my 2 cents. And if you can use a flouresent lamp during the early part of veg. You can get them down close to your starts and it will keepem short and tight spaced. The first 3 weeks of veg are real important if you want short bushy plants like needed in a tent. Unless your looking for a main cola type plant, for like a SOG. I onley let my plants get 6" tall and then flower for one single main cola.
Hope things are going good with the "Old Lady'. To me "Old Lady" is meant with respect. Some people take it the wrong way...

I so appreciate the 2cent advice ,, I am looking to do the single Cola plant I have been looking an looking so I eventually decided to go with Hindu Kush ,, for the reason she stays with in the space of her pot wich means I can get more in ,,I have done topping but in 60cm a small plant will branch out and off set others ,,, I dont have so much room above its 120cm,,I think or 160 after the light hangs an so on an on the height of the pot im left with about the length of a 2 lr cocacola bottle maybe a bit higher ,, if I really had to I may just get some more cm if I can push it but the fans need some air gaps LOl I fully uderstand it would be greta to get a flourescent but I dont have spare room anyplace we are a bit crowded .
Hey the Ol girls not to dusty thanks ,, maby a bit narked at my constant complaining about a crappy snotty nose an throat all the time its been a couple of weeks no cold just real bad mucus 3 of us have it my grandson has it worse but he dont complain about it,, tookme a while to type this cause so much blurry vision any hows thank you mate I really do appreciate your helping ,, the yog pot girl has started to smaell sweet a bit like magic butter I hope I made sense I got dots in front of my eyes now from getting a sun blast from the window

Been a bit slow with most all recently other than my Yog pot girl;)
I think things are going fair to rather bloody good ;) Please bear in mind she is in a yog pot so the buds really if in a larger pot would be bigger in fact if I had grown her in a large pot she would have outgrown my tent weeks ago ,, Any how the pictures were from yesterday and today :)

It takes a lot of time ,, but seriously she is for me a Queen seed helped me understand feeding an watering in smaller pots is constant she drinks more water than missP,,checkout how she started

If I had the room though I would certainly be looking to get some seed from her :) the Bud an leaf ratio is about as good as it gets that ive seen ,, an she still has a good few weeks as lonr as I dont make a serious cockup I could get ???

Hey Jaga,, you know if you really want a BIG main cola, maybe cut off acouple sets of them bottom branches so she'll concentrate everything on one center massive cola. That is if the strain makes a big main cola. I didn't read up on it.. That's your job.. My job is to look...JK? But from the looks she might just do that. When you find that right strain, you want to keep them bottom side branches down to a min, which will allow you to pack more buds in allotted space as in a SOG GL and Keepem Green

She was just an experiment to see what I can get from just 1 yogurt pot ,, the sinle Colas are going in as soon as I get some space in there ,, at the mo I got to wait some but as soon as I can clear a few inches im going to try the Hindu Kush and see how she fairs up in 3 teir yogurt pots I can fit a lot in and the yeild back from these is said to be above average :thumb:

If you ever really want to grow the max you can in a tent, you need some 'Donkey' dicks... I run 16 plants in a 4X4' tent with 1-gallon pots. 1 to 1 and a 1/2 ozs per plant equal alot! Anyone ever complains about 20 oz a harvest wood be crazy... I've done afew SOG in the past. Great way to crop. Seeing if you take all the cuts the same time. Then they all will be close in height and makes it ALOT easier throughout the grow. A true SOG means craming as many pots and plants that will fit in the tent. Gl and Keepem Green

Yep thats what I want to do ,, when I will get to do it with them amounts im gonna try find out ,, an if that dont happen then im gonna remodel our bedroom an put a bigger tent in there ,, this could be possible if I can just get it past the Govenor:Namaste:
 
I was feeling real good about this grow and the way things all a round have been growing ,, certainly the yogurt pots for small space growers is very worth looking into ,, I have air holes all through the yog pot I think this helps her from being overwaterd ,, another lil tip is when she flowers in a small pot you will be watering feeding constantly ,, so to keep her from feeling as though she is drowning :) Not sure thats true for her but she seems to respond and be wonderful to me on a daily basis ,, I dont think any of my pics do her justice ,, I also am firly sure that I wont get much in weight from her ,, but I do know what im going to get is going to be top shelf ,, so some more pics of the Pineapple expresscross with auto amnesia :thumb:

In other news I won journal of the month OMG me in 60cm sqaure im really thank you from the bottom of my heat that you guy make my day speacial so often :)
 
Don't know what happened but sounds good :thumb: congratulations for it, whatever it is :rofl: you'll fill me in :)
