Jaga: My First Grow Journal

I was there in 2000. The most amazing country I have ever been to. I really need to get back. I would survive almost
Exclusively on chai and one meal a day. The chai would nourish me as I walked around all day. Most of my time was in Pushkar in the desert where I learned to make jewelry. That country.."everything is possible my friend!"

yes The Chai the chat the outrageous natures of some area,s,, 2000 was our last visit to the manali area and most of the travel stopped when we got home for the summer and to sell our wares we was coming home from a festival in town an suddenly my MissP couldnt run for the bus,, it was the start of the end for 6 years we battled MS,, but she got much better with natural meds which is ultimately what led me here to 420(2012) in 2006 we went back an she started Yoga and I found my fav pastime could cure Cancer and so many other things:grinjoint::passitleft:
Heck the memories I would love to hear any any any of your storys from any road in the joint below Now we are retired from travelling but it gives me a Boner just to remember what you said above :thumb:

I am a bit sad this morning :smokin2:I really dont know what to do this is how she looks this morning:hmmmm:
DSC_0046_2_1.JPG

Not one on the fly paper yet I still can see them flying around the stem ,, this will be my 4th loss So I think this is me out of the game for I dont know how long :smokin2:Thanks every one for the help that you have given me it is with great regret I will not be growing for a while ?? I thought that I had done everything ??? And I dont know who to ask Big sigh with a long face and tears in my eyes I hope to stay around an watch Butt ???

Is it possible it's bad coir? Ahh man, this ain't right. 4th loss with this batch? How far back do I go to dissect all this? Don't go just yet.....

is that stem eaten out in the middle on the inside then she fell over , jaga, grizz this is the exact thing that happened with those bad coco bricks, don't worry jaga its not your fault that's a pest.

don't give up man, do you have any more seeds or can you get some if you can I have a way to germ them for you in just perlite and get them strong before transplant into anything.

in the pic above my seedlings are in 80%perlite 20% soil but if you have pest worries you can do it in 100% perlite.

basically you get a big container like those black ones have water in the bottom of it and a airline bubbling and you sit your pots in the container with seed planted straight under 600 w hps at 2.5 feet away from tops of soil till plants sprout then same distance from plant tops.

I think now on hind sight that it was already in my soil I had NO gnats after cleaning the tent ??
BUT I just realised they more than likely came in some cow manure from my sons Farm he is a manager of a small organic dairy farm .
Last summer he brought home well I will just say a bag of crap ,, and it was in the shed near my soil ?? what are the odds ?? Could this be right??

:rofl:One week roughly with this girl she seemed soo robust then she just had the life sucked out of her I cant begin to explain the pain even with butter its a tough ride now I have the family at home I am soo gutted

Jaga this is in the natural flow of things. At times we are tested. And everyone is made to face hardship in order to prove their love. We all must go through loss my friend. It is what the universe is asking if you now. You must realize that in the great plan this was out there to make you feel sadness so that you may deepen your understanding of loss. But it is also put there to strengthen your resolve.

These fungus gnats they are just doing what nature tells them. They are culling the herd and taking their due. But you must not give up my friend. I think I was brought to your journal not by chance but to give you this message in your tough time today. If I could we would share chillum and I would put an arm around you and remind you of your many blessings, tell you it is time to start again. Do we not go through many cycles of rebirth? Each time we adjust and learn something new. We hone our spirit with the sharpening stone of tough circumstance. I am here for you brother Jaga. Let's both go to the store and get those dunks today. And rid ourselves of gnats for now. You must start again but in years to come you will thank the gnats for teaching you today. It is not a time for sadness, you must rejoice at the knowledge that you may always start again.

It is strange and beautiful that in sadness we feel joy and in tough times we feel love. Coming to this forum has been a rebirth for me after a few years of not growing and even when I had grown before that it was joyless for a few years. Now I am whole again amongst my new family here at 420mag. It is an amazing experience and I am lucky to have it in my life. May your day be filled with happiness and a resolution to start again.

So far so good I have put my self build Budmaster panels in to the home made housing all donated by L.A :geek:I have been cleaning I got an update that I have soil coming today :rollit:plenty of spliff,s an tomoz I will install the light closer to the roof of the tent which has made me a lot happier cause I had a real cheap LED from Bamazon that run real hot an only had a fraction of the light;)
I hope to be back and growing in the next few days :high-five:

This is the spirit Jaga. On and on again each cycle leading toward perfection. Enlightenment through growing.
:thanks:
If my old man eyes see correctly, it looks like stem has thinned near base? If yes, then it's damping off or pythium. Caused by any of many pathogens in soil. Excess moisture &/or humidity in young seeding stage can bring it on. Just bad luck.
:Namaste:
Ok thanks that makes a lot of sense ,,I was spraying for gnats and Misting her caus my humidity was right down thanks bright I am making more sense out of it ,,I have only had a few gnats compared to the last time ,,and yes her stem is thinner at the bottom 420 just rocks you guys really make it work thanks :hugs::hugs::geek::woohoo:
I think thats the answer:peace:
