Jaga: My First Grow Journal

Even afew lurkers Jaga as fan as fans,,,,,,,,,,,,, But I understand what your saying about auto's and the sizes. I know it wood be hard to finish some of the auto's I seen. 4+ foot is hard in a tent. Hell they are on the floor in my room. You need to learn a strain but each new auto plant is a new enity. Kind of have to grow her to see. But if you did have the 'same plant' topping early, a lot of ways to manage height issues, least help. But sounds like your way along and I do hear, UVB lites in the last week or so helps ALOT, with trichomes. Oh btw the first week of flower,,, if you know your going to have the height issue, use MH bulb also, and cut back nitrogen. Sorry to babble just driving thru to say hey,,,, Keepem Green

It all went bad after she reached the light an got scorched ,, any how I will be doing more research into the future ,, this plant has made me feel the need for the extra room I would love , I topped her yesterday as she was going very amber:smokin2:she dont have much on her an few trichs ,, she smells nice though??

All thats left is a few thin an loose buds at the top then lots of wispy lil bits of well not much OMG did I mess up :rofl:

It has been a mess an I dont think I will wait to long before I chop the bottom,, but honestly she only looks like maybe a half when I am hoping when I get upset cause I have a live view she dont look like half even ,, the descriptions from dina fem said a medium plant :volcano-smiley:with an good harvest :smokin2:thats what made me bite:volcano-smiley:
Now looking in at amey the c99 she also looks the worse for wear small wispy buds,, I think cause she was in the corner till now an had leaf and branches shading her each day :smokin2:I think I should get a medal for negligence :high-five:

Yes. Happy to see the dark devil going in. Are you gonna share it on the dark devil thread? It's funny how they all grow and look differently.
I'm sure it's not your growing skills at fault here, they look like fine flowers to me, you shouldn't put yourself down, bad phenos, bad genetics, you have been sick and so has Mrs P, it all contributes my friend. You made a harvest and that's all that matters. :Love:

Heck I dont know I think on hindsight if I had used a smaller pot I may have had a smaller plant :smokin2:But yep I did mess up an I am real P*""#@ at myself:volcano-smiley:
I would though love to join on that thread sorry to say I never noticed a site just for her wonderful :thumb:I would be happy to grow anything near the one you are hosting :snooze:I fell in love with her after seeing it :Love:And I feel like I am a starter all over again so it will be great fun :thanks:

Nightmare mate..... I buy my DP auto think different seeds in packs of 7 there really solid auto's and stays 18-20" in my tent
 
Hey Jaga... A+ on the figure S'ing. Least that's what I've called it. Trying over without kinking, least I think, that's much better than super cropping. It really does the same. Any time you bend the,,,, and I'm not even claim to being close in anyway shape of the 'proper' spelling as in typical top?, but you bend it past the highest point on the plant and the hormones called??? Auxins?? bend the top over lower than the rest of the branch, and you inhibitive upward growth of the plant. And them Auxin Hormones will spread in the lower branches making a bush. You might wanna try looking into starting a plant into flower with your MH blubs. Suppose to limit stretch abit. Or puttem up close and personal to a CFL, or T5 bulb to start her from a seedling stage. But sometimes it's fun to have to bend them over so they can be all they can be. LST is another way to limit overhead. You'll get it down pat Jaga.............. Keepem Green

Thanks for the info Woody thats very helpful , some thing I need to get my grow growing better:thumb:
After the tops I took off I managed to get 9g0.49 to be exact so I am happy she gave me a bi more than expected :Love:
Her smoke is nice but very amber an soo stoney she will be a great night time companion:thumb:
I am getting over yet another damn sore throat an cold :smokin2: I get them direct from the school :rofl:I dont even have to step out of the door to catch one cause our daughter works at a nursery then our grandkid picks good ones for us :thumb:Luckily though smoking ganja really helps to keep em at bay:circle-of-love:

Truthfully Cajun brother I have a brother an two sisters :smokin2:Yet I feel a lot closer to L.A. than I do them :circle-of-love:
I t takes my words away the amount of love an help that he has shown me an others on 420 :high-five:

Jaga, you're so hard on yourself you always make me want to step out of the screen with a big hug. You've seen my tiny pots? Pretty as they can be, I'm lucky to get 8 grams per plant, but that's all I need to make one batch of brownies, so I allow myself to rejoice in the bounty. I know I'll do better with the bigger girls, but in an ironic twist of fate I'm spending the holidays with a friend who can't have cannabis on the property. So I harvest the pull of my short cultivating career, including a Carnival, and I won't be able to appreciate it for almost two months.

I could almost feel the universe smile when I decided to celebrate the bounty instead of morn the restriction. It's all in the attitude Jaga.

You, my friend, understand the concept of gratitude better than most. Allow yourself the joy of exuberant gratitude for the harvest you grew and watch the next one improve. It's a universal law, as you know, and the universe evidently sent me over to give you that hug and a gentle reminder.

My mother's voice keeps trying to get you to tell her something positive about that sweet plant that just gifted you with something you didn't have to purchase off the street and something positive about your ability to bring her to harvest. :Love:

Please don't hear this with any recrimination. I'd hope you've grown familiar enough with me, my spiritual brother, to understand I speak from love only and you should be hearing me in the sweet cajoling tones of a friend, standing by with a hug. Ok?
