Hey Sati I just got back I said some prayer,s for you also for the whole of 420 it was great so nice to be around so many caring soul,s it was really touching as it was forty year,s as well since the place opened lot,s of tear,s of joy many belly laugh,s. Thing is it was my Guru,s Godbrother they were best friends from the 1920 till 1977 then my Guru started to go world wide to see the place,s that his brother had set up unfourtunatley my guru left in 2009 I was in the same town and didnt hear until after he left his mortal remain,s The story well the fact is he had just got over a bad illness and seemed quite well, we were so happy he had just had his 96th birthday we then heard that instead of going on travelling to Sri Dharm Mayapur so I rememer thinking is he going to be leaving us. And sure enough when the time was right one beautiful morning he asked his helper to ask all monk,s start singing the holy mantras He payed respect,s to his Guru then all the disciples he had so I heard a massive smile on his face then he said Jai Radhe Shyam and was gone back to the Spiritual realm.
The day I heard I was having my hair cut an the Barber must have thought I was crying cause he had messed up my hair, some one translated though an I was given a very high status all of a sudden because he was really really famous in Orissa so they saw me as special being white an a disciple of such a revered personage he had many tribals from the Nelachal hill,s I miss him so much but today was a day to feel the great presence of his beloved friend and in doing so remeber him as well and the sun shone all day

Jaga, that was very compassionate of you to include us in your prayers during your Pilgrimage. Did you also do a Puja? You know your Guru's friend will be back soon, it is inevitable!

It is also good to hear that your ladies are doing well, maybe you should give them some of that Positive Karma you brought back, that would raise their hackles!!!

yes I do understand about him coming back I just hope that I will have the eye,s to be able to recognise him, one funny story was about 10 year,s ago a western came to get initiation when Maharaj looked up he boldly said ah it,s you you old rascal were have you been and how are you doing it turned out that this person was an old friend of my Guru and had died then born in the west and finally found his way back to become his disciple
And another thing that I have noticed with my Bertha, she has started to smell a little so soon I will have to hook up the filter and hope its still working nicely

do you think that Mr squirly would look at some photos I have taken, I done rather a lot of defoliation an put some wire,s in to hold down Bertha,s branche,s:grinjoint:

Just taken some more photo,s of the girl who is known by the name Bertha I have defoliated her and added some wire to hold down her arm,s Bertha seem,s to like it a little rough. So with no more to do than show the girl please she is going through puberty she has pre flower,s all around an has started to get some body oder:grinjoint:

In the bottom picture she has some good foliage but should I remove it as I heard it can take vital energy during flower cycle or would it be ok to just leave her like she is now. Thank,s any one for taking the time:grinjoint:
 
Think you should leave her alone. Autos should always be left to do their thing. I don't personaly think the defol was a good idea, but she's all yours Jaga. Have a nice weekend.

I have more than likely done the wrong thing to be honest I am not surprised, An I do actually remember some one saying exactly that crap I did have a bit of a bad feeling bout defoliating her well it,s another learning curve. This grow was going to be for me one where I was going to try an remember to get date,s an feed time,s watering on a need to only basis. Shit I really do hope I haven’t FXXXXD up:lot-o-toke: but looking at the worst case senario Mr Dragon what would you think the worst thing that could happen:straightface:Honestly what is the worst case :oops:My bad OMG:helpsmilie:
 
It will just stunt it a bit while it tries to grow new leaves Jaga. Its not the end of the world or anything. If it was not an auto then you could veg for longer to make up for the shock, but an auto has no controllable veg, so it will just cost you a couple of grams. She does look sweet though Jaga, and I like the Low Stress Training your doing. Its not a disaster or nothing Jaga, She'll be fine.

that,s a bummer at the moment my health is not at it,s best an with the Mrs also disabled I get a lot of stress and then it seem,s well not sure if it,s an age thing or I just plain don’t remember much. I had heard and did actually know not to try stuff like that with an auto it all came back when you posted that. I feel shit cause I was trying to do a responsible grow but it seem,s even if I put messages around the place I still forget what I’m doing. Still I will persevere, and I thank you again you have been here for me since my first grow I seem to remember you are a great guy and a downright BRILLIANT grower I thank you very much. Some time,s I so wish I could meet you folk,s an you would be able to see I am as mad as a Hatter but my heart beat,s for my friend,s:tokin:
 
Jaga, let me lighten your mood.

Nobody is an expert on auto's yet. Not even the breeders. Every thing we try is more information, and that is good. Even the growers here with multiple auto runs have very limited sample size.
Rico had an auto reveg, and she became a freak. Donpaul.p used 12-12 to increase his yield. jon705 has 6 foot outside auto's. Until a grower runs ALOT of the same strain under multiple senerio's, results will be all over the place. Heres an example:
Say I had a room to grow 20+ Blue mammoths. It would take at least 3 runs at different lighting schedules with everything else the same to have data on one strain. And that would only be lighting data. Then you woul need runs to check nute schedules, defoiliation, size of lighting, etc,etc. Multiply this time 100+ auto strains and we have alot of work to do. :)

We can only learn from our mistakes and our attempts. Until then all we have is theory. Ill grant you thier are some strong theories out there, but data is at a minimum. Breeders want the marketing of finish times. This sells beans. But they dont tell you how they are grown only light schedules.
I find it hillarious that the most common auto theory is DONT TOUCH THEM, yet the concenous is that they are for SOG grows. How can both be? If the breeders info is from SOG style grows, then why are we to not touch them? And also, we should be yielding more per plant than the advertised amount by not touching them but that doesnt happen often. 2 of my 3 strains list a PER PLANT yield. Not just the usual per meter yield. And even then the amount is all over the map.
So worry not. Just by growing auto's you ar on the cutting edge of research. Any data is good data Jaga. :)

that is so good of you to put that Im just going to have to put letters all over the place reminding me what I should try an do the best I can thinking back the last time I grew this was under a hps an she got a little to tall and so that,s when I learnt something about tying and super cropping.
Really the thing that get,s me is the fact that I just seem to not be able to remember any more and I don’t want to keep making mistakes cause I forgot again I have a shit load of reminder,s on my cell phone even then I have forgot after being reminded
But thanks for the info that has helped a lot an it is a big part of my outlook on life that all life is individual so then different plant,s will do different thing,s because of individual need,s will be different from one to another

this is my second one going and it looks like its gonna be taller than the first which was no midget
