great looking plants!

Defoliation works amazing in the vegetative cycle as well. I also run the gas lantern routine. I noticed no difference in growth compared to when I ran 18/6. So I am now saving hours worth of hydro costs daily. After defoliating I notice massive growth spurts, in both veg and bloom cycles. That being said, some may not like it but I think that might be linked to a smaller root structure. All I know is it works for me and have read great results from others as well. Peace!!

a little HELP if anyone can plz & thanks
I wanna harvest my girls when the trichomes are about 75-80% cloudy & 20-25% amber
so question is when would i start my flush? When the first sign of amber trichomes appear? Or before that?
:helpsmilie: :helpsmilie: :helpsmilie:
i know its early still but wanna get it all figured out before hand

guess a better question would be how fast do trichomes normally change from cloudy/milky to amber color.. every strain is gonna be different but a rough estimate is better to work with than nothing

I start my week flush the first sign of Amber and befor chop that gives me around 90% milky 10% Amber so I'm guessing start your flush at maybe 10% amber.Just make sure your calyx have swollen up a lot as Amber can show on your sugar leaves before your plant is actually ready for harvest. You will get a stronger smell when it's ripe so when you notice the change start checking.Thats the way I do anyway

once you see the first sign of amber how long do you flush before your harvest?

do the plants need at least a week or two of watering with plain water & florakleen or will one final watering (flush) before harvest do the job

sry for the newbie questions still learning

Hey there same person just name change:)

With your question.A lot of people give it a good flush then just water feeds for around 1 week.I just give it a double amount plain water, and then give them a drain to waste every 2 or so days for around a week. You should see your fan leaves turning yellow over the whole plant.Ive started to cut all fan leaves off after they turn yellow and give them another 2 days in the dark and let the Pete mix dry out.The shock of cutting them off and dry media along with the dark really seems to make them chuck out crystals

now the only thing i think i have left to figure out is the DRY koolbloom nutes.. they seem really strong and im a bit nervious to use it due to the high npk ratio.. but wanna give it a try heard some good results also some bad.
if anyone has tryed this stuff and has some advice please feel free to share

Plants look great, Jae. Is Green Crack the same as Dream Queen? I've read they're the same strain, but I've also read they're slightly different? I've had Dream Queen and it's fantastic. Regardless, I'm interested in Green Crack, so I'm looking forward to following your journal.
