Jack's Land Of The RDWC Autos!

Makes hydro look simple, for sure.

Plus it’s highly addictive, and gets expensive real quick.

I keep thinking I’ll put a small display tank together for shits and grins. Then 20gal turns into 40, 55, and within an hour I’m looking at a 300gal setup. Um... no. Not even close.

This is why I’m still tankless.:rofl::rofl:
it took me few years to get to the 90 gallon setup. It was definitely expensive, but thats with any hobbie. I started of at 30gallon to 55gallon and then 90gallon. The few things that i kept with every tank was the fluval pumps and res which is made for a 120gallon tank. couple of plants and then just cloned it.

Some fish are meant to be isolated, they don’t play games.

I use to have a red blood parrot and he used to play with a pingpong ball. He also didn't mind getting pet. I would stick my hand in the tank and he would just come close to it so i could pet him. Fun little guys that grow big.
Their very hardy fish and poop all day long.

I started similar, but with a 55gal. Bumped to a 75, then 90. Ended up with the 75 as a freshwater native species tank once the 90 was running.

Used to have a lawnmower blenny that was like a little puppy. He was awesome.

My favorites are tangs though. Love my surgeonfish. Getting over that hump and having a tank without them is tough for me.

Saw a big-ass “lagoon” tank that was awesome. It’s been many years since the guy last updated, and I think he got bored and changed it up again, but it was awesome. Had 2 kessel pendent led’s, tons of clowns, tangs, corals, anemones, red mangrove tubers, and a big wet/dry volcano in the middle.

Was fun to watch crabs go up n down.

thats awesome. I try to change the scenery inside the tank once in a while. It's a lot of work to redesign. Specially with a lot of fish and plants in there.

Absolutely. It’s a big time suck, but it sure is rewarding.

I keep trying to plan out a “nano” tank, but it never works out. I miss having one, and will again at some point.
