it took me few years to get to the 90 gallon setup. It was definitely expensive, but thats with any hobbie. I started of at 30gallon to 55gallon and then 90gallon. The few things that i kept with every tank was the fluval pumps and res which is made for a 120gallon tank. couple of plants and then just cloned it.Makes hydro look simple, for sure.
Plus it’s highly addictive, and gets expensive real quick.
I keep thinking I’ll put a small display tank together for shits and grins. Then 20gal turns into 40, 55, and within an hour I’m looking at a 300gal setup. Um... no. Not even close.
This is why I’m still tankless.
Some fish are meant to be isolated, they don’t play games.
| I use to have a red blood parrot and he used to play with a pingpong ball. He also didn't mind getting pet. I would stick my hand in the tank and he would just come close to it so i could pet him. Fun little guys that grow big. Their very hardy fish and poop all day long. |
