Do you snip off a small bit of check on the plant?
I just go by trichomes but you can take a taster and dry it for a sample.

I chop when I start seeing amber on the buds. Unless I'm specifically hunting for something "heavier" than usual, then I'll wait til I'm seeing 10-20% amber.
When you think they’re ready give them another week. lol

I guess that's what I'll do. I wonder if this is more sativa than indica. I can't tell because Dr.Chronic is not the best at giving info on proprietary seeds.

I usually pull around 20% amber trichs across the whole plant not just top nugs

The upper canopy looks like trash. The leaves purpled, and dried out. Looks like maybe tomorrow will be the chop, don't want it dying before then.
