This is my opinion of the lamp,if plants are wide and short,we suggest you take small led light to better cover them.

and if plants are thin and tall,we suggest you take large power to give enough light to the bottom

I think the size of your light depend's mostly on the size of the area.Yes Amy is right,bigger plant's need more room and more light,but I am only running them in a 3 x 4.5 ft area and like the fact they only need one plug and I can easily separate them and use in multiple area's of my grow.I would not try and fill my 4x8 area with 6 or 8 of these when I can use 2 Znet16's tho.

An unmentioned benefit of multiple lights vs one big one is that if one fails and you have multiples you still have light, but if you just have one big one and it fails you are SOL.
