J4s2u0's 2nd Grow - PC Growbox and CFL's

Hi j4s2u0 The person I saw was in my bedroom and was more like a white wavy image. Ok! More like ghost, but it seemed not to notice me. My house is old and has had many additions. For some reason I felt the the shadow belonged there. I've been a SF fan for years and there was no fear involved at all. :popcorn:
 
So just got done lsting both females,well bent them over ect...
But they both looked great,still yellowing so I am going to use just water next watering,either later on or tomarrow...
The roots have already started speading to the sides of the container,but Im sure there just starting,lol...but defently both look good:)
Both plants have hairs on the first branches at the top now also,but hopfuly now that Im lsting...the branches will come out and grow some!:)
Ill update with pics in a couple days or when ever I see somthing worth showing...
 
12/25/2010,Update kinda....
Well havent been around much,internet got shut off ect so just got it back on...
The girls will be 38 days old and 28 days flowering 12/12 tomarrow morning,but there looking good...some of the very bottom leaves died and fell off,not a big deal...
The branches are just starting to come out around the rest of the plants,still a damn long ass time to wait...and I am realy thinking that there mostly sativa just from there look,they dont look anything like my last female...these leaves are way thinner and just different,"I like the indicas better" but I will try my hand at these regardles if there sativa or not:)
Cant post pics untill Monday,and can only put up a couple cuz I guess this new internet thing has a limit "internet from us-cellular"...just plugs into ur usb thingy,lol...I hate it:|
Anyways I will post a couple pics Mon,4 days ago I dident feed,just watered to flush out ectra nutes if there was some...yesterday morning they had that "feed me" look,so I did just that with the foxfarms big bloom...
Im realy hopping these girls pick up a little with the organic nutes in big bloom,last time it made a hell of a difference,got my fingers crossed though...
If they are sativa then that might exsplain why there going slower,idk...but I do know sativas take longer to flower,more then indicas anyways:)

So I said I would be doing an update with pics today and it dident happen...
All yesterday and last night we got hammered with snow,dident stop till mid day today...anyways the roads were un-drivable so my girl is stranded in another state till tomarrow,it seemed like we were only getting a little snow like an 1"...
And then all of a sudden we were getting like feet!
Have no idea how much we got but when I went to look for snow shovels to shovel,it was mid thigh level,so a good 2 feet...more or less,skiers and snowboarders are going nuts since its the first real snow storm this year...
But I will update as soon as I can:)
The ladys are looking great I think...one week ago they had no branches realy,now there are like 5-6 budsites/branches and more on the way!
Also,I know everyone said not to top during flowering but I did top both of them a week ago,thats prolly why the branches are coming so fast....
The reason I did it was because I like the results I got last time...
I did read all about topping while in flower and everyone says it slows them down ect and lowers harvest,but I like what Im seeing so far so its cool....
On the next grow though I will top all plants but I will do it a week or two before flower,that way I wont stress them ect...
I have been feeding with fox farm big bloom,whats working the best is feeding them,then waiting 3-4 days,then feeding again...then the third wattering is just plain water to flush out ect...the plants seem to love the big bloom,I can already see trichs on the flowers and it hasent even started yet,lol....
But update and pics asap:)

Everyone is right! Not good to top in flowering. :smokin2: Sometimes it works, but not often. Best time to top is when they are in veg. Some say top when the 3rd set of real leaves are there. I top mostly on the 4th set of leaves. Wait three or 4 days and top again and even top again after 4 more days.
It makes your plants bushy and and have more colas. However check your strains at a seedbank. Some strains do not like topping at all and it makes a mess of your plants. Take a look at my plants, all where topped at least twice.
Look at my K train to see what can be done. It's a bush and has many tops.
Only trying to help, but it's your choice. Good luck!

I relize I prolly shouldent have topped during flowering but last time I did I was happy,this time I got to use the big bloom through the hole grow and can already see these plants will look much better then the single girl from last grow!
After I topped I read it stunts growth ect...but they look crazy good now I think,the last plant had like 4 buds/branches ect...
These plants both have 6 now each,and theres leaves coming out all the way to the bottom,totaly the oppisite as last time,haha:)
I know what you mean though,and next time will defently op early cause I want some bushes,exp outside!
And believe me Iv seen ur plants,lol...many many times:popcorn::blunt:
You have got ur shit down pack defently,and Ill defently be watching!

Ok so finaly got a camera,not a good one but it will do I hope...
Both plants are looking great but not growing extremely fast,but hopfully they pick up soon,lol...
Today I ripped the hole setup out and re did everything,kinda...
I removed the 2-42watt cfl bulbs,and the 2-6 outlet extention cord thingys...
I got a new 7 prong outlet extention cord now,mounted it up as high as I could,right in the middle,also bought some new 26watt 2700k bulbs:)
So now the light setup is 4-26watt 2700k bulbs at 104watts..."84watts before"
Now the lumen output is 7000 lumens of 2700k..."before was 5200 lumens"
So thats 1800 lumens more then the 2 bigger bulbs,and the temps stays right around 82 now I think...there also much more room in the pc,more height and a little more width...
Anyways,here is 5 pictures...if they work,

The plants are 43 days old from seed,and 33 days flowering 12/12...
16 days since the first hairs were spotted on the first female,
and 14 days since the first hairs were spotted on the second girl...
They both stink a bit,Im sure it will get worse,lol...:)
Both plants seem to have that purple stem trait that I had in the last grow,but this
time they defently look more sativa then indica...
Would anyone else say they look more sativa then indica?
If they were sativa that might exsplain the slow growth ect,if not then idk...
I love the new light setup compared to the old one,more watts,more lumens,more room and cooler temps,cant beat that!
Another thing,I have a photo limit now because we have a weird internet thingy but I can upload 4-5every update untill we get somthing else,lol...
Anyways,thats the best I can do,lol...

I noticed today that both plants have 8 tops/branches...
This is cool because between the both of them theres 16 tops:)
I am going to start lsting them again but right now I wanted to let them stretch a bit now that they have a little more room...
I do in a way regret topping the plants,mainly because it slowed them down I think,
But it did send out branches which before the top I had like no branches,lol:P
Everyday I check them out I see more and more hairs popping everywhere,there is white hairs on all 16 tops now,farther down u go the less hairs obviously:D
I must say that the tops look just like my last plant kinda,the 2 top main buds on both plants already have trichs all over,just hopping these ladys start getting bigger ect...
 
that is just soooo kool....
yeppers, more sativa, but a sativa dom. hybred....not quite thin enough for a true sativa....but def. leans that way...mho...cant get over what you can do with a darn p.c. case....hugs, and happy n.yr. L and hubby:thumb::thumb:

I was thinking more staiva as well so thanks for ur opinion...
Ya I guess its hard to believe what can be done in a pc,I never believed it untill I actualy tried it,defently works,lol...kinda dissapointed about the sativa because I love my indicas:)
And I think indicas would have grown much better in the pc,and there quicker,lol...thanks again:):thumb:
 
For being in such a small grow space those plants are looking beautiful bro! keep it up cant wait to see it at harvest time.

Ya waiting sucks,but this time I dont mind...last grow I relized I shopped to ealry,could have and should have went another 10-15 days...but because it looked better then the mids I was getting I figure it was ready enough,and sure enough it was,lol...:)
This time I wana leave them going untill the change colors ect,I would realy like to see some purple on them at the end,but who knows:P
Hope u had a nice new years OMM,we have been smoking 2 different types of OG kush all night,right when the ball fell...we were all about ready to fall...my girl also bought a nice thick little 6" glass bong,hits amazing for $20 :blunt::tokin::lot-o-toke::smokin2: so ya...stoned is an understatment,Im still quiet high:D
